Children Christian nationalism is exactly the mirror image of not doing what Jesus said to do. If God’s laws are based off of what would make us happy, fulfilled, and healthy (or help the cosmos function..?), then all we need to consider (morally) is whether something fulfills those conditions. There’s really no need to consult God’s opinion at all. Hence, Marks hasn’t answered one of the most basic challenges to divine command theory. In other words, he only focuses on the arbitrariness worry, but not the other horn of the Euthyphro Dilemma… Am I missing something?🤷
