View from the skytrain: This is the future home of TransLink's Operations and Maintenance Facility. It will be their first fully-electric depot and will have the capacity to store, charge, and maintain approx 300 battery electric buses. The Marpole Transit Centre is key to reaching TransLink’s goal of 100% net-zero GHG emissions by 2050.
Location: 502 West Kent Avenue South in Vancouver, BC.
Facility completion by 2026 (Aligned with fleet renewal schedules).

Metro Vancouver's hate for cars is only equal to how much they DON'T spend on real mass transit solutions instead wasting it for the toy bike lanes and gridlock inducing madness. The irony that they claim it's to make the area greener and more livable is lost on them as it now takes 115% to 147% longer, stuck in traffic, to get the same drive done during the day. How green can all that extra running time be?

I jsut realized they made a terrible mistake: The LEGO shop is gone now. So now, where else can they establish a LEGO shop in town? It's just not as creative like Toys R' Us.

Much like the majority of No.3 road, this development is a boring, dense concrete jungle.
Doesn't matter, still housing.
There's a housing crisis, boomer. And you're still complaining about green space? Most people will settle for a project that gets done on time, on budget.
