I’m having some health issues with my joints, but we had a family trip planned for New York City. This czcams.com/users/postUgkxuxJwamLFanm476LC5WPeTouyyU1GXomC was perfect! It’s lightweight enough that my friend could carry it up or down stairs when we needed to. (I can walk very short distances) It was comfortable for me to sit in, I would say if you’re super tall it might be a little cramped. I’m 5’1” and the foot rests were the perfect height. This may not be the best one for long term use, you get what you pay for, but for something that fits our budget that gives me accessibility while we deal with my health this was amazing.

Okay first thing first Wear Gloves! Once you're gloves are on and you made it to the point where you need to roll up the dirty covers and sheets Please! Make sure you're not rolling the dirty covers and sheets all over yourself! as sadly displayed...please make sure you always safely roll dirty covers, sheets and clothing always AWAY from your body and dispose of it properly 😊

In India we need old age homes on the pattern of HelpAge India, Caretakers’ responsibilities are different from that of a nurse in the hospital. The HelpAge Caretakers in hospitals like All India Institutes of Medical Sciences have jobs like carrying old age patients on wheel chairs or stretchers from one place to another - as referral cases from one department to another - transferring patients to ambulances/cars, at times giving bath, changing clothes, etc. - a function altogether different from that of Patient Coordinators. Their job is simply not for providing administrative assistance at window counters - to assist the hospital authorities in giving appointments, collecting cash, etc., - as employees, which I term as abuse of and wastage of the training of caretaking of the old people. Somebodies from charitable institutions like HelpAge India are meant to serve physical services to the old age patients who more often are not accompanied by attendants - who, in turn, are not at all trained to handle this class of old age community. Also, we have to appreciate the present dy tendency of the children for various reasons and excuses abandoning their parents. Old age caretakers' jobs are needs of the day which are best served by charitable institutions like HelpAge. I do not forget how deftly I was taken care by a HelpAge lady in emergency situation when I was having a heart attack - as told to me by other aiims staff later on. It was a serious situation. It was in December 2021. She was, of course, dutifully helped by the OPD (Geriatric Medicine) staff in shifting me toI Emergency and then to the Ward. I am obliged to them. My point here is for consideration of the AIIMS administration/authorities and the Government of India in the Ministry of Health & Family Affairsis to review (a) the postings of HelpAge people as those of Care givers to old age patients in Geriatrics Medicine Department specifically, than as assistance to the hospital's nurses or clerical staff; (b) Increase the number of Caregivers, post at least three in the Ward for 24x7 day in three shifts - always remembering that they are not nurses or other paid staff from hospital, but somebodies with a social instinct of doing charity who must be paid wages for their sustenance by the hospital authorities, may be as another charity part of the funds received. I strongly recommend increasing the number of these personages in all sections of the hospitals.

I am just recently retired with lower back pain. I have been searching for exercises to do that are low impact. These are just what I've been looking for a nice warm up to ride my bike.

With such a long history it is impossible to recognize everyone but I hope that the contributions of Margaret Hiroto are not forgotten. Margaret became the Administrator of Keiro after the untimely passing of initial administrator Art Ito. Her vision and steady hand guided Keiro during the formative years and was a major influence in bringing the spirit of Keiro into everyday practice.
