Work bench isnt even a question. Square edges. Lean against it,run c clamps on the underside over the edge, tall verticle stuff in the vice past the front of the table edge. Save the live edge for the non working edges

... I got one word for you, buddy... Harbor freight sandblaster. Sounds like a kind of ridiculous purchase at first blush but it has come in so handy so many times with different types of media that you can put in there to do very gentle work with things. I can't tell you how glad I am with the purchase best 150 bucks I've ever spent.

Why is this the formula given for calculating board feet 99.9% of the time everywhere but I don't think I've ever seen or heard which unit of measurement should be used. @brandonbillivar3283 is a rare exception. Out of curiosity how many people are here because they didn't know the formula? Did any of you pick up on the fact he is measuring by feet and not inches? So if you're measuring with inches like a normal person then the correct formula is (inches) length×width×thickness/144= boardfoot and I'm pretty sure the majority of people that make videos using this formula might not even know themselves and have probably been getting the wrong measurements for however long

the 5-10 bucks will be worth it in 10 years when you have that moment

Always buy 2nd hand spanners from flea markets for just this purpose...great for shaping into( old school)carburettor spanners... you don't want to have to destroy good tools for a roadside emergency.

The curved 9/16 is for Pontiac trans mission bolts, and the angled 3/8 is for gm distributors.

i have a custom made crowfoot somebody chopped the top off of a wrench and welded it to a 3/8 it’s pretty cool got it for like $2
