When I was young I used too always talk about doing this!

I've tried this before and learned it's a bad way to add wheel weight. The loose weights doesn't pushed the tire down into the terrain, instead it acts like a hard foam incert, just rolling over the rocks instead of grabbing them onto them. If you already have enough weight for grip and just want to lower the center of gravity, loose weights are fine.

Does having the extra rudder surface give you any noticeable advantage?

Hiya, Marc,, my husband & I just bought a echomap UHD2 53CV today. Never owning/using one before, we Simply cannot find a user guide for it let alone Any videos on that specific one. They are all for 93CV & up. Any good suggestions, if not, are the other ones (93 & up) basically the same as far as usage that we can kinda follow along? Thank you in advance :))) Michele ✌️

Does it pull to the right at all with a bigger outboard on the right? But nice rig man I was looking at doing somthing like that maybe with smaller motors but just for the reliability on a 12 ft boat

I have never seen this on a small aluminum boat before. It’s actually a pretty good idea and built in redundancy is always a good thing.

Hey Marc, just to be clear since I haven't had much luck with my question, can I buy any charts off of the Garmin webtsite & upload them to my striker? I know now after buying a striker that I should have bought a ecomap but before I sell it I can get charts for it without making them it would save me some trouble.. Thanks

I got a 11.3 foot Cheap Chinese bass boat got it for 800 bucks, I put a little 4 horse tohatsu on it and i’m yet to test the speed but it’s quick.

I'm like, an old 30 HP twin two stroke is not that expensive. Probably safer than this set up too.
