I've seen you on a lot of videos about Peter Steele and you often have a contrary opinion on him. Most people speak about him almost like he was a saint, but the more I read and watch about him, the more I realized how flawed he actually was and even he acknowledged this. I'm assuming he already had emotional and psychological issues prior to his success, but I don't really know much about his early life. I read that his dad was a ww2 vet, so there must have been generational trauma among other things. Regardless of what happened, it seems like he never really dealt with it since some people said that his life was rough towards the end. He had issues with his family and money problems despite his sobriety. He still hadn't found a healthy, stable relationship either. It seems so sad given how much he had going for him. Tall, handsome, talented, gentle, kind, funny, smart, but he destroyed himself with substance abuse and probably hurt some people along the way before ultimately dying just as he was beginning to turn his life around. It's so bleak that I can understand people not wanting to acknowledge the darker parts of him.
