My point proven by you EXACTLY! 23yrs old is still so young-the divorce rate in the USA has risen to an ALL TIME HIGH; in 2016, the divorce recorded reflect an incredible 84% in under 7 YEARS, for "adults" married between the ages of 21-25! Do you understand just what this means? ALMOST 85%!! The numbers say it ALL! It means that individuals of this age,are still young, still wanting careers,still individuals...so much so that they remain in the marriage for LESS THAN 7 YEARS! I give them another 2,maybe 3 yrs at best. But hey, who knows, with any luck, maybe they'll manage to find a way to struggle and fight to remain in that ever so positive 16% category of 20yr olds, who remain together beyond 7 yrs. The numbers speak for themselves. We are facing an enormous crisis in the USA, and the sanctity of a true marriage is no longer what it used to be. Marriage vows, the commitment, no longer means what it once did. Back in the 1940's-1960's, the USA average Divorce rate was less than 20% overall...that's an incredibly significant number,and it really does MEAN something. (FYI, In 2016, when comparing the 21-25yr old stats, the number of individuals who's FIRST marriage takes place AFTER the age of 30 for BOTH individuals, reflects a VERY different, INCREDIBLY different number and rate...still far too high, it's at 46%, but this number is actually just about half of what the number of divorces are, for " young'uns:like Lindsay AND her pal WITNEY). Go back to Season 19 on DWTS, and check out their trio dance with winner Alfonso Ribeiro-Watch the rehearsals...they weren't even 20yrs old yet when the season started, and BOTH REFERED-on National T.V.- TO THEMSELVES AS "DUMB BLONDES"! Who DOES that, referring to themselves in such derogatory terms...(pretty positive not many people over the age of 30,'cause they've GROWN UP!)The only ones I know of are those 20yr old kids!

Okay. Literally stop. The age someone is when they decide to get married is none of your business. My cousin just turned 21 this past August, had been engaged for a little over a year, and is getting married in May. She and her fiance are literally the most perfectly compatible couple I personally have ever seen. Age has nothing to do with how ready someone is to get married.

I agree with the idea that one has to be mature enough to get married. But we have to remember that age does not always come with maturity, nor does maturity always require age. Be happy for them and wish them the best.
