You do understand that percentages are relative to the amount they are applied to? The poor only got "3 beans" more because they don't earn as much...they still pay a far lower tax rate anyway, so halving it is silly, likewise 0 isn't good either as everyone should have a stake in this situation we all live in... That said, taxation is theft, especially that on profits, gains, income, and investment. Consumption based tax makes the most sense. Everyone needs the necessities, and if an economy were to be stabilized through something like the "fair tax" approach as proven in states, a stable economy encourages everyone to buy stuff and spend money instead of hoarding it... Many of your arguments are invalid but a lot of the ones on the other side of the aisle are too. The economy is fake, the dollar is fake, the stock market is extremely fake, and everything is rigged with this false left/right dichotomy to keep us all controlled and enslaved. If you were to remove the bias of "poor vs rich" in relation to amounts, and look at percentages instead, you would at least provide a more fair assessment of reality instead of your take on the situation from a personal perspective. We have to step out of ourselves and our biases if we want to clean up any part of this mess or slow down the speed at which we decline into a failed and dead nation, something that is truly inevitable.

I think it’s funny when people say that it had the lowest tax cuts for low income earners as if that’s a gotcha. They already had the lowest tax rates at 11.8%. There’s not much lower to go! What do you expect? No more taxes for low income earners? That’s what a 10% reduction of a 11.8% tax rate would basically do. Doesn’t seem all that fair. Of course most of the cuts will go to the top, especially if the idea is to equalize the tax rates. 70% taxes is ludicrous. And honestly so is 50%. I have no idea why anyone would be cool with taxes that high. Rich or poor.
