Upper West Side is a neighborhood in the borough of Manhattan in New York City. It is surrounded by Central Park on the east, the Hudson River on the west, West 59th Street to the south, and West 110th Street to the north. This neighborhood is the same size as the full length of Central Park on the opposite side of Upper East Side which stops on 96th Street.
Upper West Side is culturally very rich with the Lincoln Center, hosting notably the Metropolitan Opera or the New York philharmonic.
Upper West Side is known to be a primarily residential with a lot of restaurants and fashion stores.
