Long appreciated Franks work. Being a big fan of the type of novels his artwork graced. But never really knew that much about him. This video was great, I now have an even better appreciation for his work.

Maybe I just never watched enough episodes as a kid, so maybe this was explained. I can remember even as a kid thinking it seemed a little ridiculous that he was calling for his own might, muscle, and menace when it clearly was his own might, muscle, and menace that had literally just failed him. Why? Mon*Star you had so much potential. You looked like a Van Halen music video meets A Nightmare on Elm Street with a little bit of Ironman sprinkled on top. Wtf happened to you?

It amazes me how most well known artists from early days have huge canvases and Frank could capture such great details on much smaller canvases.

fun fact. Chris Casamassa was not only Scorpion in the Mortal Kombat movies, (as all of you probably know by now) but he was also the real life master/Teacher of Jason David Frank, who was the Green and white rangers in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, as well as other Rangers in later seasons. I remember being mind blown, when Jason Frank posted that on his Instagram, before he passed.
