so when i go to my clip and i pause it since i use media player it shows the bar when its paused, how do i get rid of it

It absolutely does give you an advantage but the only way I have been able to get it to work would have me opening and closing the game twice and changing the settings every time I want to play the game. I wish it was just more natively supported.
