An Orange Creamsicle Mustang! Full Matte PPF Over Gloss Fury Orange | Authentic Details Austin Texas
Wes Tindel of Lonestarexotics and Alpha One Motors joined us for a full in-depth tour of his 5.0 V8 s550 Mustang that we recently did a Full Matte conversion on with PPF including a 3-year Feynlab ceramic coating.
PPF Isn't the only unique thing about this Mustang! Four months after Wes had his car finished by us we invited him back out to the shop to do a full walk around on his car to show us all the little accents he has done to help this s550 stand out!

That is correct. Headers are OEM with OE Cats in them, from there, entire exhaust is JHM. No other mods other than suspension stiffening (chassis brace, tower brace, tunnel brace, spacers).
Hey, I’m getting ppf on my black 24’ Honda civic I’d like to know can you get swirls on ppf , does show swirl marks? If it does, since xpel is self healing will swirls go away on its own?
Seriously enough with the stupid cyber truck. Yes we know you’re an idiot for paying over $100,000 for a vehicle with no paint job. Yes we know its use as a real truck is limited and the range while towing drops to about 90 miles. It’s simply an attention grabber because it’s so ugly and that’s the only reason these idiots bought it. For attention. Hence all the vapid CZcams videos about it. Next time just get a nose ring if you’re desperate for attention. It’s a lot cheaper and it won’t rust within a month
Still gets hot I got that one and till hot .
Every car will still get hot since they are metal boxes. What you will find is the car stays cooler easier, takes longer to heat up and a faster cool down, and makes for a much cooler driving experience. No tint will keep the cabin cool while the car bakes in the sun, unfortunately.😂

No issues there. We have done engine bay interiors with PPF and still good after a few years.

@@PhaseSkater wait so the darker shades have worse heat rejection? How is that possible? I have Xpel 70% on my front windows and Suntek 20% on the rear, and the back feels significantly cooler.
@@ionetwofarq1673 no the 50 percent xpel rejects more heat than the 70. Everything from 50 below to 5 rejects the same heat
@@PhaseSkater my bad, I completely misread your comment. Yeah I agree. Although on paper it says Xpel rejects more IR compared to my Suntek, it still feels cooler behind the suntek.

Hello sir. Im forced to replace my ppf from my piano black b pillars, but i see there are some blade marks near the edges :( will the New ppf somehow mask/hide the blade marks when i put it over the cuts? Will it make them less visible?
yes there is a 80% probability of that happening unless the cuts are very thick or deep into the paint
What should we expect during unwrapping? And how many years does this color stay good on the car?
Great questions Ray. The film is rated for 10 years and has a warranty for 10 years as well. I'd recommend always taking it to a shop when you take the film off, there is always a risk of pulling paint when taking PPF off if not done correctly and it's always good to have a professional do it to minimize this risk.

I'd take the B8.5 with the interior the B9 chassis. The exterior of the B9 looks like a Ford Fusion. Put the tail lights from the B9 on to the B8.5 and you'll have the most perfect vehicle.
I nearly bought a 2024 RS5 a couple of weeks ago. I came to my senses and thought it would be more practical to buy an S5. For as quickly as they depreciate, I could buy a 2023 RS 5 with 5k miles on it $15,000 less than the price of a 2024.

What do you do if you go to a private installer and receive work like this? How can you get your money back?
Two things. 1. Ask them, send this video and share a few others and see how they respond. 2. If they refuse to fix or refund, as the consumer, you have the power if you paid with card - you can dispute. If cash, you may be quite stuck. Unfortunately, many people getting PPF shop around for price without realizing this is an art. It’s not a commodity, you don’t get the same thing everywhere and it’s quite a bit of money, so this is an area where you don’t go cheap.

What’s the Cost of ppf on a model 3
