My opinion has changed, Jason Griffith’s Shadow has grown on me. David Humphrey is still my favorite, but Jason puts a lot of effort into his performances, especially in Sonic and the Black Knight (that’s right, NOT 06, his performance in that game is extremely overhyped.) However I’m not completely sure if I would want him back as Shadow in the games even though he improved in Sonic & Tails R, since that was fan-made and they may go with a different direction, which makes me skeptical about whether I would want him back or not.

I know Sega’s contract with 4Kids expired, so they had to get rid of the old voice actors, but they kept Mike Pollock. Why couldn’t they keep Jason Griffith as Sonic and Shadow, and the other voice actors? I don’t get why Sega would do that. Just cause they voice acted for a Sonic TV show shouldn’t make them locked to the company the dubbed it in English. Is there something i’m missing? Really miss Jason Griffith

David Humphrey clears ngl, Jason is good don’t get me wrong but he’s too monotone and sounds like he’s trying too hard. David gives bro more dimension and sounds chill

David Humphrey is the GOAT of Shadow, but Jason Griffith is up there with him. He started off pretty rough in Sonic X just like he did with Sonic, but he quickly improved a lot when he got into the games in contrast to his Sonic performance, which took 3 years for him to grow into his own take on Sonic instead of imitating Ryan Drummond. However in the games I think he was trying to sound edgier which made him come off as forced in some games like 06, but he still had that underlying potential to do a perfect Shadow voice. Then, when they got him back in Sonic & Tails R, they gave him a new vocal direction, and I loved it! His portrayal in S&TR was borderline perfect, since they directed him the same way as Humphrey in Heroes; snarky but serious. He sounded more normal than edgy and stopped whispering, which really worked for his performance. Honestly, if not for David reprising his role in Sonic & Tails R Episode X, David and Jason would be nearly tied imo for Shadow.

Dan Green is my #2 knuckles. My #1 being Idris Elba

I despise Dan Green so much as Knuckles. I hate it sooooooooo much and I cannot stand it and I can't stand all these tasteless insects loving it. I'm so sick and tired of being in the microscopically small minority of people that hate Dan Green’s Knuckles voice. I passionately ABHOR anyone that supports it and says they like it. It is god awful, atrocious and it does not sound like Knuckles at all, it just sounds like Dan’s Yami Yugi voice doing the worst Knuckles impression I've ever heard, which is exactly the reason why he fits Knuckles in Sonic X perfectly, because X Knuckles in general is a bad parody of the real Knuckles, which fits Dan’s awful voice perfectly. He should have stuck to X Knuckles, and never touched the REAL Knuckles. Scott Dreier ACTUALLY fit Knuckles’s voice and personality perfectly and nothing you tasteless drones say will ever change that fact. I cannot ever fully enjoy a Sonic game with Knuckles with Dan’s terrible voice ruining the experience every single time Knuckles speaks. I would get so much more dopamine satisfaction and happiness and joy if I was hearing Scott Dreier. Dan ruins everything related to Knuckles in the Sonic franchise for me. I wish I could actually fully enjoy Knuckles in games like Shadow The Hedgehog, Sonic Riders, Sonic 06, and Sonic and the Black Knight, but instead I have to TOLERATE him. I shouldn't have to tolerate Knuckles when I play Sonic games, I should just be able to love and enjoy my favorite character in the Sonic franchise but I can't with Dan Green in the role.

Ian and David were good and I know damn well Keanu is gonna do amazing. But let’s be real there is no shadow on the same level as Jason Griffith.

Lisa Ortiz is my favorite voice for Amy Rose! She made her sound extra cute and adorable! Her anger in Sonic X can be pretty funny at times. If Amy Rose is around, I want to give her a hug because she's so cute! The other voice actresses like Jennifer Doulliard, Cindy Robinson, and Shannon Chan-Kent also did amazing as Amy, but Lisa Ortiz is definitely the best of them all! Plus she returned in 2020, which is pretty cool!😍💕🌹🥀

Some people say Kathleen Delaney is miscasted as Rouge because she sounds like an adult woman instead of an 18 year old, but I think she did a good job voicing Rouge in Sonic X and some other Sonic Games around the Dark Era. Rebecca Honig made Cream the Rabbit sound extra cute especially with her high pitched voice and I love that about her especially when Cream has her kind moments in Sonic X. Overall these two voice actresses did a great job voicing Rouge and Cream.👍🏻
