Hi, Thank You for the video. Got lots of information. One question: I have Gen 1.0 roof. The fixed glass was broken due to hail. Now a body shop did the repair. They installed a new fixed glas (gen ?) and new 2.1 front and side appliques. But now there is a gap between the seals from fixed glas and side appliques. Should these parts from different generations fit together or do the new side appliques have another shape? Greetings from Austria

I took down part of the headliner and pinpointed the leak to over the front applique, so it needs to come off. Glad to see this video, since it looks like the easiest way to get it off is using the wire technique. Question is, will this damage the existing seals?

Thanks for explaining the difference between the original roof and 2.1. I have a 2014 I bought in 2017 and it looks like it has the 2.1 upgrade. I bought it from Tesla when they were selling refurbs, so I'm thinking there was a problem with the original roof and did the upgrade. Anyway, I have a water leak over the driver's seat. It's not a clogged drain. Any ideas?
