Well i still have and most love 5 mechanical watches as you can see. Casios I love for sentimental reasons.
I did not see one Bulova watch in your collection . The original Bulova Accutron of the s60s was timed by tuning forks . Nor did I see Elgin watches . U know Elvis wore a special addition Elgin watch in the 50s . Now I have owned several watches such as a collection . I have owned Rolex and Cartier plus GUCCI . I still have some wind up watches which never need a power source . My bands are mostly genuine skin such as Alligator , snake , lizard , ostrich etc. The metal bands or solid gold bracelet bands are not tight enough on my wrist to my liking .
I have not many brands yes. đI do not like Bulovas name which is probably why I would not buy it even if it would be available here. Elgin also no idea what it is. I guess as well that both are above my price range. The metal bracelet is practical here because it is very warm here and I am very active. Lose metal bracelet never sweats đ. But leather ones are prettier for sure.

I believe not even that. See I could have pointed that out. But well now it is at least not needed anymore. Those tires are forever.
As I understand it the Evoque was never sold with a spare wheel, hence my question.
@@johnpoile1451 yea i didnt checked under floor if it has some mini spare wheel or so, but no full size for sure. It is now back to customer, but will check it again if it drives around.
That darned Check Engine Light stayed on for so long, I was at the edge of my seat - thankfully it went away before I started yelling at my computer, lol. Nice, relaxing maintenance video. The Evoque looks mean with those tires, nice choice Joliette!
Hey thank you! Right? Completely changed the stance. Looks amazing, even more IRL than camera can capture. Yes the starting took long because the fuel filter was empty, I was not sure if I should prefill it, pretty sure someone does it, but I like to make some little stress test time to time to discover failures early in comfort of the garage. Especially starters here in paradise suffer a lot.
@@JoliettesParadiseAdventures I'm in Florida, USA, where anything steel has a very short life too. So a pair of Smart cars, and a BMW i3 electric, all made of plastic and some carbon, to hopefully escape the worst of the rusting. Looking sooo forward to Episode 47 from Paradise!
@@GhostRyderFPV Thank you a lot! Yea plastic here gets so fragile on the brutal sun so not really a solution either. Even ABS gets brittle with the time. Funny life.
Delay caused by new oil filter being fitted, also fuel filter, both need filling.
The old 1980's (and probably other) Subarus have the parking brake acting on the front disk brakes. They also required the push-and-turn action to retract the pistons. So, while it may not have been common, it isn't just on new cars.

One thing I notice is that you put copper grease in the same way you do with WD40: just the right quantity, not more, nor less, same goes with me!

That's a classy looking XKR Joliette. You struck lucky finding that one. I've visited Fuerteventura many, many times over the past 20 years (recognise El Cotillo and Mt Tindaya in your B-roll) and don't recall seeing many Jags ... especially XK8 /XKRs. I'm looking for one now, to go with my 2010 5.0 litre XK, but corrosion free ones are hard to come by in England. Lots of rust buckets around for just a few thousand pounds, so a right-hand drive, 30k convertable from the Canaries would be worth ferrying / driving back ... I'm out again in October.

Yes, but they are not same, not so strong and cheap. Different application.
You can undo a zip tie, by depressing the rachet with a watchmaker's screwdriver & pulling the tail free.
Yes, but it takes too long, needs a special tool and could be damaged and not work the same way, not worth it in my opinion.
