Wild Jams at the Sacred Grove.
My rock star chums come here to hang and play live music. Cameras and mics are pre-rigged so there's nobody in here but us.
Jazz, punk, funk, rock, blues, eclectic, world beat, metal, pop and " Avant Bang" all get destroyed here.
The sessions begin with nothing. The players arrive without a shred of material and we just play the first thing that comes into our heads.
It doesn't look like a studio in here. There are a few things missing, technicians for one thing. I have it all rigged so that I can run the gear myself. I've spent many happy hours tinkering with the wires, microphones, pre-amps, cameras and crevulators so that it's all routed, line checked and hidden.
With the technology in mufti, all you can see is a jungle of musical instruments. The players pick an amp, drum or horn and start playing.

Would be even better if it was a piece of chocolate fudge cake
Drummer's are the Engine room of the BAND.đ„
Keith Moon was a con man who managed to pull off the con.
Would we ever hear Sting talk about Andy this way? đ
Thank you
Heâs undeniably sexy
A drummer and 3 ego maniacs walk into a bar...........đ
THAT's how you get your water, and get a good grip on your sticks.
I LOVE seeing stuff like this! Please keep sharing.
The Police were truly a special band with the whole being much more than the sum of the parts. Stewart and Andy couldn't have written all those songs. But Sting couldn't have added what Andy created with those chords and textures. And NO ONE could have created all those drum parts that were so signature and brought so much out of the songs!
What a great percussionist!!
So cool to see an icon saying "that's hard!"
I saw Stewart Copeland as I was walking by a restaurant near Venice Beach. I just had to interrupt his meal with friends for a brief moment to tell him that he was the reason why I played drums and of how much of an honor it was to see him in person. He was so gracious. He thanked me, and I went on my way. One word: WOW!!!!
That was phenomenal.
accuracy and precision - and a warm heart -
.... Where's he walking

Copeland el mas punk , y una maquina tocando
Thank you Stewart for sharing all these videos. I was a huge Police fan, saw you live in Melbourne, but never really knew all this interesting background material. I was in a punk band too in that era, and agree with all those rules!
He really made that band work.
He is the GOAT
Centrifuge guy....
The Police were such an inspiration for me and as a bass player always followed sting. However Fall Out next to Message my favourite. Shows that talent rises to the top regardless.
I'm curious to know why lost fleet music got changed :) Spyro the dragon series holds a special place in my heart â€
What's his underhand drum grip called?â€
There`s no great band without a great drummer. And Stewart is the greatest!

Love this!
Caffeine is a wonder drug.
I thought I'd just about seen it all ..
Ok ....well sayd but.. mike brecker..(who was ..for me ..best jazzman ever) used to say"drums is the most important instrument in a band ..cause if the drummer is good he makes the whole band good.." and i agree with this concept 100 percent..i notice that in bands in which the drummer makes a difference...for example..police, tower of power, sting with colaiuta..đled zeppelin..and so on..đđ
Personally i never liked keith moon that much...
Sticky sticks!
Geddy and Neil. Second to noneđ€

Thatâs the silent communication of a tight band
Dee Dee Ramone energy
Skinny boy
Andy Summers really DID create a great template for guitarists wanting to add unorthodox soundscapes into a pop structure. And I'm fairly certain that he and Joe Strummer influenced all of those bands from the 1990's who were incorporating Reggae into their punk and alt. rock songs. MAN I'm glad I stumbled across this channel!
some cups of coffee are really more decisive than others.
Some or eat Spinach for power, some eat watermelon.
i don't think he's talking about busses
My Water melon's going everywhere, Stuff you Sting.. im slowin down!
