Generating tonegasms with my Lyra-8 and SH101. TR09 for simple beat. Found this while looking for photos on my computer the other day. I think the video is about a year old, I don't have much recollection of making it. As usual, lo-fi raw unprocessed etc somewhat inspired by Nick Batt and his friday fun things?

Taking a break from the breaks to explore Karplus Strong synthesis using my old Bugbrand Weevil, and trusty Octatrack. Rough recording straight into my camera so please excuse levels etc. I love the process of transforming the unruly weevil into something rather beautiful. Enjoy!

'There are three things in your composition: Body, Breath, and Mind.' : Marcus Aurelius. Synths tuned at A=432hz, all run into the mixer with reverb from a Boss pedal. Then a record out line straight into the camera, so apologies for low level audio. No processing.

I played at a Rave for Halloween this year, this is one section from that live set. Recycling samples of my own songs, the usual Amen breakage and some other bits. Just took the headphone output straight into the camera and pressed record. Imperfections= you know its live :) uploaded raw movie file straight to the tube!

overbridge vst pipes all the separate tracks onto separate channels in ur daw. i reckon. i own digitakt and it works for that

Thanks @Mike_72 . I sampled the DFAM trig out. Then used a the OT to send that sample back to the DFAM adv clock in. This allows to have rests, and polymetric patterns.

wow just found you channel. love all your music especially all these jungle tracks. You should make tutorial vids for how you go about making jungle and DnB on your octatrack. I just got one and can tell it will be a transition from making this type of music in ableton but it seems a lot more fun and don't know where to start.
