It's that kick down at 5:33, like dropping a gear to overtake someone in a car, to ramp up to 1600 rpm that always made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. A true monster of a machine, the washing used to come out almost fully dry. The WMA76S really was the best washing machine I ever owned, using a 1400 rpm machine now is like a major step backwards.

I had one of these back in 2005/6, my previous machine only spun at 800 rpm so when I put it on for it's initial, before first use, wash, and it spun up to around 1100 to 1200 I was impressed. When it then dropped a gear and ramped up to 1600 I thought it was going to tear apart the space-time continuum. Damb it was impressive, like a jet engine spinning up. Thanks for the audio memory.
