Wow seems in great shape..nice no nonsense video also.
This is just my opinion which means diddly squat but I feel these Lincolns are way to classy of a car to be throwing vinyl wrap on it. It'd rather have the paint imperfections of a 59 year old car that earned those imperfections, but hey , it's your ride not mine. (I think that blue is gorgeous and rare.)
WOW! It’s a beauty!!!
Enjoying the videos
ive had several and when I had window issues, most of the time it turned out to be the switches.
You re such lucky to have beautiful oldies like that in usa such things we dont have in France or we will pay a very very high price for it . This old cars are so beautiful!!! Good job!!👍
Nice cleaning. I've owned MANY 61-65 Lincolns since 1975. Wonderful cars with a few quirks. Good luck on your cleaning and repair. I just started on a 62 convertible that was taken apart in 1987 and is missing a lot of parts. I do have a parts car so it will be a several year rebuild.
What happened to the original 430?
@CDKDC not sure. It had the 390 in it when I bought it.
really a difficult car to work on for sure , you'll get there i really enjoy watching man
Like that Suburban ...it is just an amazing interior. Holy moly that metal flake does show and it is catchy. ** Side note** I'm only bringing this up because your audio was pretty bad throughout the video but if you use a lapel mic please move it away further. When you were too close the audio became distorted and it was like when a mic is too hot and sounds as if the gain is wide open. It made it difficult to listen and I actually muted the sound and I did not want to do that.
@SaintsPurgatory thanks for feedback. Yeah it was the first time using that mic. I've got a few things ti learn.
good start.... I'm a Lincoln guy.....I have 3 of them sitting in my garage..... one /76 Mark IV....2 other newer ones.... look forward to more on this car.....cheers
Nice car, looks good for being left standing for so long.
Just added you onto my subscriptions, Hi from England.
@@rogerthecabinboy thank you and welcome
Good job sir
Once the intake is removed it's not much more work to pull the heads and change the head gaskets. Good content for your channel!
That's what color my 1972 GMC SUBURBAN light blue with a white top. I painted HOR RIDZ FLATZ Laid law yellow I went with the school bus them black tented window's. I got a lot of thumbs up. Yes you don't see many of those suburban around. They were used at airport's or they put a higher top and used them as ambulance.
Should put a sticker on the window "No I'm not going to paint" and yes it's cool.
If you know how much they are asking for a GMC grill you'll think different about changing the grill out. I built a 1972 GMC SUBURBAN power breaks power steering. Built mine from the ground up. People thought I was crazy for buying something that should have been sent off to the junk yard.
Yes, over the years, Ford loved using vacuum for wipers, power locks, hideaway headlight doors, etc. Keep up the good work on your Lincoln!
*Man your a Boss* *CATER*
You might need help lol
I would check the intake gasket, that’s a likely culprit.
I believe you're are right my friend. I've got a video coming soon.
If I remember correctly 65 Lincoln 430 has a water passage in the intake.
@rcgrove2 this is a 390Fe, and it does have a water passage in the intake. The intake is cracked
Have known my `1965 from new. First sunday in 1965. I got it from second owner. Have had it since Feb 1978.It is resting in dry dark storage for many years. Have copy of new selling paper work with copy of window sticker.
Love those Lincolns. I have a 67. What are you spraying on the seats to clean?
@@xlntcpa just some good Ole Zap spray foam degreaser and then upholstery cleaner

Good afternoon, I just found your channel. Good job. You made the comment about finding an updated window motor. With nearly blind micrometer eyes that motor and drive unit looks a whole lot like a motor I installed in my 88F150. After you got the donner motor going it sounded like the widow slides needed lubricanting , spray white lithium works well for me. Good luck on the channel and the Lincoln.
Will do. thanks. I'll check that motor out too.
It's about a 12 gallon tank,,Which means you'll get around 160 to 180 miles to a tank,,,That's saying at about 15 mpg,,
If I'm lucky enough to get 15mpg 😆
Good job!
Nice vídeo.
Bonjour de la Belgique manifique voiture ❤❤❤

Every Country Should have Lincolns. They would make a cool Burnout Car.
