Hi. A very attractive tour with incredibly beautiful views. Thanks for sharing. Last week, I have been to Kayakoy, Fethiye. We paddled 3 consecutive days on day 2, trained on some rescue procedures, which were not easy as seen in CZcams videos.
Thanks for feedback. The Gulf of Fethiye and near coast I know only from sailing. I was there several times between 2004-2009. We started from Cala Gonone and / or Santa Maria Navarrese on various trips and spent in total several days. Difficultly depends on sea conditions. In addition there are 2 challenging aspects: the limited places to exit, crazy motor boat drivers. SUP is from my understanding not a good idea, if you plan to go far away from starting points. Good luck!
Ispiring… Now it’s my turn; I am going to Fethiye/Mugla tomorrow for a 3-day sea kayak training course. This going to be my first sea (and second kayaking) experience.
In this case I wish you a good start with sea kayaking in the Gulf of Fethiye (I know this area only from sailing)

Not to paddle on this water: Good desicion. Have you trained on self rescue procedures i ncase of capsizeing? P.S. Photograpic composition of the videos are beautiful.
I trained self rescue procedures (Eskimo roll, with/without paddle float) as well as rescue procedures in a group (T-rescue), but you have to repeat it again and again.. moreover you have to be aware that self rescue operations in rough sea conditions do not always work, therefore you have to be very defensive, if you go alone...

Fortunatamente, abbiamo fatto una buona scelta scegliendo "Paddle Asia" www.paddleasia.com/ come organizzatore di un viaggio in kayak di più giorni nel Parco Nazionale di Phang Nga. Bravissimo Detlef, hai saputo far vedere questo tratto di meravigliosa costa pugliese, con una nuova prospettiva che solo il kayak sa regalare. Belle le falesie, le grotte ombrose e colorate, i faraglioni, gli archi di roccia, le insenature e le spiagge, il mare ed il cielo. Ho notato che tutti i partecipanti indossano il salvagente e nelle grotte il casco: complimenti, l'attenzione per la sicurezza accompagna la bellezza.

Hi Detlef, as usual you did great videos and trips. I've spent lot of time in that area, my parents had a small flat above Porto Taverna. I did many dives around Tavolara and Molara. That's a great place.
