Bruce kulick isn’t dead
I, Monarch is such a devastating record
King of the Grey Islands would make my list, fantastic album. Other great albums from 2007 for me would be Akercocke: Antichrist, Inveracity: Extermination of Millions.
Love Ithyphallic and I don't get why so many say it is Nile's worst album, their new album is my most antecipated in this year!
Good list, Id toss in a Angelus Apatrida - Give em War, Dark Tranquility - Fiction, WASP - Dominator 🤘
I like Mayhem. I Love Burzum!
Great year for Death Metal: 1991 Great year for Black Metal: 1994
❤️💿
Great picks man! You got great taste. I was 19yrs old in 2006…. Time flies…
@@DesolateSolitude thanks
Chimera is my favourite Mayhem album, I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I love the production, the riffs and maniac's vocals are intense!
Mayhem must be the most overrated black metal band ever. I never like them, and I never will.
exactly
I'd agree with Stench of Redemption, what a return to form for Deicide. I'd have to shout out Drawn and Quartered: Hail Infernal Darkness, and my favourite album from 2006: Anata: The Conductor's Departure.
my top 10 probably: 1. Opus Nocturne 2. Whorecrown 3. Into Utter Madness 4. Serpent Sermon 5. Sulphur Souls 6. Bleached Bones 7. Blood of the Funeral 8. Darkness Breeds Immortality 9. Thousand-fold Death 10. Life's Emblem
nice picks. my top 10 would probably be: 1. Don't Talk to Strangers 2. All the Fools Sailed Away 3. Wild One 4. Naked in the Rain 5. Lock Up the Wolves 6. Rock 'n' Roll Children 7. Faces in the Window 8. Killing the Dragon 9. Shame on the Night 10. Lord of the Last Day
@@PWH666 nice list
Amongst the Catacombs, Chemical Wedding, Vobiscum... amazing picks, good list man.
@@PWH666 thanks bro
We share a lot of the same picks from 2005 (Nevermore, Immolation, Bolt Thrower, Nile). It was a very strong year. I'd have to add Akercocke: Words That Go Unspoken, Deeds That Go Undone. If you haven't heard that album, check it out! I'd also include Arcturus: Sideshow Symphonies.
I love you for your Nevermore pick. Maybe cut back on the F-bombs next time, makes you sound uneducated.
great top 10! mine goes like this 10 Rammstein Rosenrot 9 PAIN Dancing with the dead 8 Kreator Enemy of God 7 Dark Tranquility character 6 Exodus Shovel Headed Kill Machine 5 Trivium Ascendancy 4 Nile Annihilation of the Wicked 3 Opeth Ghost Reveries 2 Strapping Young Lad Alien 1 Hypocrisy Virus Nice to see that some of our picks are overlapping! I think the overlapped picks deserve to be on everyone's top 10 metal albums from 2005 who's into metal!
Awesome album and just subscribed to your CZcams channel
@@UnderGroundMusicStudioHorsens thanks..appreciate it
@@vikingraven4156 you are welcome
Hell yeah. Just realised a Podcast with Temple of Scorn and Terrorpy
Great analysis!
Nobody rides for free is off detonater bru, grouse album..pllease keep making vidz..
@troyradford1418 no it was only released on ratt and roll as it was recorded for point break sound track.. Just double checked..thanks
Find a shitty album and trash talk it for us please
@@RonaldMcDonaldface check out metallica 72 seasons,latest anvil
@@vikingraven4156 72 was a decent modern Metallica but I'll check out the new Anvil. I've seen both bands decades ago before this social media disaster we're all a part of lol. Ps, it's fuckin awesome that you buy CDs. Did you see that cassettes are back?
King of all kings??
I like the diversity of your list. Don't think most would put any song from K.F.D. but I'm glad you did. And I'm with you big time with Widowmaker. I think its a bit of a hidden gem.
I think Mercyful Fate fans might be surprised that I would have "9" and "Into the Unknown" right near the top.
Demigod easily gets my favourite album of 2004. Seeing them live twice on the tour for Demigod definitely helps! I'm also fond of the Wretched Spawn because I got to see Cannibal Corpse during that tour cycle in 2004 as well. Really glad to hear the Negation got a mention as well, my favourite Decapitated album! I have to shout out Under a Stone with No Inscription by Anata, Leviathan by mastodon and Songs of Darkness, Words of Light by My Dying Bride.
Dismember probably doesnt have a bad album. About Behemoth i went into them with both The apostasy and Demigod almost simultaneously
Lej
I got my copies on June 25th. It is always on repeat and has been since.
@@sxrvsvct7911 great album
You forgot Cryptic Writings by Megadeth.
Nice list of cd 1984..but Powerslave always No1..and missing Bathory first album..Bathory will push Metallica on place down..
I don’t listen to them anymore. When I got Don’t Break the Oath in December of 1983 it scared the crap out of me.
@@chrisfrancz great band..go back check other albums out..
Nice Collection, so cool!
@@RockVinylChannel. thanks
2014 was an absurdly good year for metal 🤘 I don't have a top 10, but I have a few I'd put at the top of my list: Ne Obliviscaris: Citadel Skyharbor: Guiding lights Epica: The quantum enigma Panopticon: Roads to the north Triptykon: Melana chasmata
Great album
Keep em coming, i love it g..
Great memories brother 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Stoked that World Funeral and Infinity Through Purification made the list. Enemies of Reality is fantastic, but I feel the 2005 remix is better than the 2003 release. I'd have to add Enslaved: Below the Lights. It's the album that first got me into the band. I also have 2 obscure death metal releases: Avulsed : Yearning for the Grotesque (fantastic death metal from Spain) and Fleshgrind: Murder Without End. Also, how can I forget Deeds of Flesh: Reduced to Ashes?
All gems in my book. That King Diamond is a treasure, it took a few spins but damn it has grown on me. Unholy Cult is a beast among beast. In Their Darkened Shrines is another beast. Gore Obsessed, cult. Great video.
@@stevesekora thanks a lot.. appreciate it
5. Unforgivable sin 4. Of martyrs and men 3. Nailed to gold 2. Into everlasting fire 1. Furthest from the truth
spider's lullabye is better than voodoo, abigail II and puppet master. It deserves better position in the ranking. Greetings
It’s so fucking good, holy shit!
Unholy Cult has to be my favourite album from 2002. In Their Darkened Shrines was such a surreal listen when I first heard it. I was blown away the first time I saw the video for Sarcophagus on Much Loud in 2002. I'd also have to shout out Forensic by Mortal Decay. Such a unique death metal listen!
My 12 would be Give Me Your Soul, Please in my book It’s not a bad album but all can’t be 1. I mean the worst of king diamond is better than the best of most bands 12 - Give Me Your Soul, Please 11 - Voodoo 10 - Abigail 2 9 - The Graveyard 8 - The Spider’s Lullabye 7 - The Puppet Master 6 - Fatal Portrait 5 - Them 4 - Abigail 3 - Conspiracy 2 - The Eye 1 - House of God
@@donmcglothlin841 good list
@@vikingraven4156 for me House of God has the best story, best riffs and Glen Drover was the closest match for Andy when it comes to solos
Can’t believe people still buy CDs! I haven’t seen a CD player in years!
Excellent list as always, most of those you mentioned are my favourites as well from 2002, and I agree with you about Immortal & Nile. These two bands are freaking amazing.
@picpepe thanks a lot..much appreciated. You like new Nile song?
@@vikingraven4156 I love it. Nile has the best song titles.
Hey man! Thanks so much for the shoutout. Glad you enjoyed the album! Cheers!
Anvil hasn't been good since the juggernaut of justice album this new offering is weak lyrically and sloppy musically
The only time I have listened to that Iron Maiden was the day after it was released. I need to revisit it. I sold it a few days later. I wasn't impressed obviously, but I bet my taste have changed, glad you showed it. All the Death Metal you showed are absolute bangers. That Dissection does take you on a journey, absolute masterpiece. I need more Iced Earth, I have 3 albums.. it is pathetic haha. Great vid bro.
@stevesekora thanks bro..early iced earth is killer..highly recommend you check them out.. I didint care for that maiden album back in the day,but man has it grown on me..really good
