Duke was a much smaller team in '97 compared to Duke teams before and after the '97 team. The second half was a parade of baskets in the paint for Providence. Derrick Brown and Jamel Thomas were in sync and dominated Duke in the paint. Add in a few iso sets for Croshere, dribble penetration by the guards, and it was a winning formula for Providence.
