Can someone help me please, i bought pc5 serial no 16-013 purchase used from Facebook market, and the guy advertised as cbr 1000rr. After little research,i realized that it is CB 1000R. Can i use the same power commander for my 2009 CBR1000RR ABS. THANKS.

Hey, you see these red pins/tabs/clips, one connecting to the fuel tank and the other to the airbox. How on earth do you put them back in place, I have spent hours trying to, but it does not want to go back. I would really appreciate your answer.

I have an blue and white wire on the pc5 that the manual says to connect to the rear position sensor...the video does not mention it. It connecting the blue/white wire necessary?

Great video mate... I've got a 2010 Zx6-R and talking to local dealers to buy a pc5 I have been advised that I must also buy in conjunction of the pc5 an Oxygen Optimiser plug in. If I don't do this my bike will run like an old dog... I have been looking online for this Dynojet O2 Optimiser plug but cannot find the part which is for my bike - they have them for others... I am skeptical due to the fact that the dealer also advised me that I needed an O2 eliminator block off plates (this after a couple of phone calls to other dealers was told I didn't. I had bikes i.e. 2011 Triumph Speed Triple which I installed a Scorpion slip on exhaust - this needed an O2 eliminator. I am a little lost here... help.

Great addition to the akropovic exhaust on my s1000r. Not that I needed more power but the lighter exhaust sure is nice and she runs better with this tune.

Does anyone know if it will hurt the bike to run it with out the power commander hooked up untill I can get it programmed

I believe I have worked out a solution to allow blue tooth capability with this unit to interact with the software.

what kind of tools do i need for this and how long does it take for a shop to do? trying to weigh the cost of buying my own tools vs. just having it installed by whoever i can find to do it

After watching this it becomes apparent that it is not worth it. I don't know anyone that needs more power from an s1000rr. Just some folks thinking they know better than BMW. If you want something different then buy another bike. This looks like a great cheap device to ruin a great piece of expensive engineering. Stick to remote control cars if you want to splice and dice. I suppose the first generation s1000rr's are getting on now anyway. At least, we can all Agree on TRUMP.

will this also improve the sound of the exhaust (not vs stock I have a 2 brothers silver series short can) in a way that the cbr will sound more like other super sports with a more aggressive sound coming from the exhaust? Or is this just for fuel mapping and hp?

To be honest, the BMW has such a good on board computer you really don't need a Power Commander anymore. The bike will adjust on it's own.

after the temp wire is hooked up to the orange wire then where? i assumed it then gets hooked up the the small holes in the pcv

This video is great. I bought a used one last night and it was mapped for a different setup than what I have. I assume I need to program it to my current setup FIRST before hooking it up is that right, or will it hurt anything having the map from a different setup on there when I hook it up?

Powercommander is not really about getting more power. Its about getting more smooth power delivery. Etc when u install aftermarket exhaust it fucks up the flow and the standard engine management(MCU) cannont compensate good enough for the changed flow. Thats where a powercommander comes in handy, it CAN compensate for the changed flow cause by the exhaust and adjust properly. A powercommander is not about tunning, its about optimizing.

Awesome kits.... If im correct they piggy back your ecu's stock map with a new map more suited to you, usually offering more torque, bhp and smoothing. Extremely useful when installing after market exhausts and performance parts :) worth every penny!!
