You should keep that firing pin bone dry. That's polished steel for a reason. You don't want any oil there that can stick and attract dirt or carbon. That's a gummed up jam waiting to happen. There's no such thing as "not enough oil too attract dirt or carbon." Carbon will build up and stick to dry steel. (Take an engine apart sometime.) Otherwise this looks good. Maybe some CLP on the bolt lugs?

How do you raise or lower the optic sight to achieve 1/3 or absolute? Do you have to purchase a separate riser for that or is it built in to the sight?

But Mr. 2nd Amendment, I have a Mossberg 590s Shockwave and I have difficulty fining the mini shells to use in it, and when I do, they are expensive. What I want to know is, can that birdshot round be shortened slightly by trimming the 'power-piston' ? What is the purpose of that design? What I'm thinking is trimming that central 'shaft' down so that the bottom of the shot pellet cup sits directly on the powder gas seal, then trimming the case down the proper amount to allow a shot card on top of the shot and then roll crimp it. Maybe even make a few wax slugs too. I'm just wondering if that pedestal on the 'power-piston' has any function other than lengthening the shell so it will properly cycle in a regular shotgun. I'm guessing that the completed shell would be about 1/2" or so shorter than the original. Thoughts?

Gotta remember those sights are meters not yards. I forget that often and set my sights to 250 at 300 and 150 at 2. Battle zero i aim at the groin to lower stomach

Its important to remember that EVERY gun is different. Some like to be ran wet and some run dry. Sure it was designed to run "dry" but every gun likes what it likes.

I want to add a scope to my M14. Can you tell me how to remove the wedge block just in front of the rear sight. On you video, that piece had I believe a number 50 on it. I’m not sure how to get that pin out. Thank you in advance.

Would this happen with barnel laqure cases?

Something I heard someone say once was that if you have an unreliable mag, especially for usually very reliable gun, treat that thing like gold. It can serve as an incredible training tool. Mark it as a failure mag and keep it separate from your defensive kit, then when you go to the range mix it in with your stuff. Doing so will force you to get good at quickly remedying failures as you'll have no idea when it'll occur, which is usually not at an ideal time or position.
