Yuri's Revenge | Soviet Mission 1 | Time Shift | Hard Difficulty & Under Par Time
Comrades, we have an opportunity to prevent the Allies from winning the war and Yuri from taking over the world! First mission, capture the Allied Time Machine, travel back in time and destroy the Psychic Dominator.
Guide: This mission has the most objective of any in this series but its straightforward. Clear the Navy and Grand Cannons, then use Boris to deal with all Allied Infantry you can use. Have the Rhinos accompany him to deal with Grizzlies. Eventually Boris will become Elite, at which point destroy all the Pillboxes around the Time Machine. Meanwhile use your forces to clear Allied units around the Power Plants in the area. Capture 4 Power Plants and you will be travel back to the Prehistoric Age! If you prevented the Amphibious Transport from leaving the map earlier, take it to the top left corner quickly and you'll unlock Rexy. Don't put him in the transport however. Once you travel forward again, Rexy will be there. He can tank everything and deal good damage so use him to deal with Gatling Cannons and the Psychic Dominator.

Guide: This mission is more annoying than hard. To start off, you'll want to build a sizeable economy and some air defenses before building the Radar Dome. Yuri will send Floating Discs to attack your Soviet base so you need to be prepared for this. Once your Allied forces arrive, build Grand Cannons to defend this base and capture the Oil Derricks in the bottom left and deal with Yuri's engineers before they capture them. Build up the Battle Labs and War Factories of both Factions and start building Prism and Apocalypse Tanks. Build a Chronosphere first, then the offensive Superweapons. Chrono these tanks to where the Psychic Dominator and destroy it, this is your main threat out of the way. Infantry isn't needed in this mission so you can leave the Genetic Mutator for later. Build up Prisms, Mirages and Apocalypses. If you are using Weather Storm and Nuke, use them together to destroy the Yuri ConYards in one go. Destroying both bases is a bit of a grind and I did a bit of a bad job here but its pretty easy to do. Congrats! You've completed the Allied Campaign.

If Gatling Tanks attack and are out of range, just exit and reenter the building to draw closer, you might end up losing a G.I or 2 but its important to keep the buildings garrison-able. As the attacks continue, you'll want to build a Aegis Cruisers and/or Patriot Missiles to deal with the Floating Discs, as well as starting to build up Mirage and Prism Tanks for the next phase. Once the Soviets arrive and the map is enlarged, start to send forces towards Yuri's base. Keep the Submarines and build some Destroyers as they will send Boomers to attack Parliament. Yuri's base is easy to take down with just a couple of Prism Tanks.

Once they are dealt with, start expanding your base and capture the Airfield, Hospital and Machine Shop, build factories by the latter and produce Mirage and Prism Tanks. Destroy the small Yuri base, then approach the Cloning Facility from the right side, destroy them and the production then Yuri will sell everything. He will send a bunch of Initiates towards you but the Mirage and Prism Tanks can easily deal with these.

Guide: Pretty easy mission here. First things first, send the Nighthawk to destroy all the forces around the Oil Derricks so you can capture them, then build defenses to stop attacks coming from that side of the side. Build up your economy and a Battle Lab and start to clear the base around the large pyramid with Tanya. Once they're all gone, you'll have control over the Psychic Dominator for a short time. Use it on the grid of 9 tanks in Yuri's base to take control of them all and send them to the right of their ConYard. These tanks will be sufficient enough to deal with most of the forces in the area, destroying all production buildings first, then all Bio Reactors. Eventually they will sell their remaining buildings, at this point, use Prism Tanks, Mirage Tanks and Tanya to deal with the remaining Slave Miners and voila, mission accomplished!

Guide: You can cheese this mission by turning Superweapons off in the Skirmish menu but that's boring. Immediately use the Weather Storm on the Bio Reactors in Yuri's base, train some Snipers and put them in IFV's. Send Engineers to capture the Oil Derricks, Power Plant, Machine Shop and War Factory. Quickly take out the forces surrounding the Power Plant closest and capture it. This will knock Yuri off power, though he will try and capture or destroy your Power Plants. At least prevent them being captured, if they get destroyed it's not too serious, this mission is easy at this point without your Superweapon. Push forces towards the Massivesoft Campus and destroy the forces there to get a bunch of money crates. Deal with the forces around the bridge with Sniper IFV's. Position them on the bridge to deal with paradrops. When you're ready, send a bunch of Grizzlies and Mirage Tanks around to the North East side of the Yuri's base, then destroy the Nuclear Missile. Job done!

Guide: This mission isn't too hard but it can be tricky early on if you don't defend your base very well. Garrison buildings around your base, deploy Guardian GI's and build Grand Cannons to deal with the attacks on your base, they will come at you from all directions. The Grinder east of your base can be dealt with very easily with just few GI's garrisoned so do that and take the money crate that it spawns. Send Rocketeers to the Grinders where the Terminator and Rambo to gain control of them, they will be very useful this mission. There are loads of Yuri patrols and buildings here so Mirage Tanks and Prism Tanks are the way to go. Once you have the Chronosphere up, send them directly North and to the North West corner of the map to destroy the bases here. Destroying all non defensive structures will cause Yuri to sell everything and this automatically completes the mission.

Guide: First mission and its very easy. Use your Mirage tanks to deal with infantry, avoid garrisoned buildings and send Engineers in. Once you're back in them, have anti-Air units around the Grand Cannons to deal with Dreadnoughts and the Kirov. Tanya will eventually come out of the Time Machine but unlike in Red Alert 2, her dying no longer fails the mission. If you do kill her, a bunch of Aircraft Carriers spawn to allow you to destroy the Psychic Dominator a lot faster.

Guide: The Allied will send a number of forces after you very early on. Use Shock Troops to deal with IFV and Grizzly Tanks that they teleport in. If you are quick enough, build a Psychic Trooper and mind control the Aircraft Carrier, it will be handy later on. Once the 2nd wave of Grizzly Tanks are destroyed, that's it for the Chrono attacks. Now its time to build a bunch of Submarines to destroy all Allied navy and Shipyards. Once they're down, build a bunch of Dreadnoughts and start building Kirovs. Don't bother trying to land on the main island and capturing the Allied base, they will constantly attack with Prism Towers on the cliffs and send in loads of Chrono shift Prism Tanks to harass you. Instead going around the bottom left on the map, use a Sea Scorpion so you can reveal defenses and start using your Dreadnoughts to destroy Prism Towers, which in doing so will reveal the Patriot Missiles, your main targets here. Keep an eye on them and be sure to target once they are visible. Destroy as many within range as you can and you will only need about 4 or 5 Kirovs to destroy the Chronosphere.

Capture the Tesla Reactors on the hill and build defenses all around it. The AI don't play about this time around, they will keep sending troops after you. Use your Kirovs for defense as well. Capture the Oil Derricks to the right of your base and the north one but make sure you can defend them as the AI will attack them too. Be sure to build up a bunch of Flak Tracks and Flak Cannons before you deploy the Nuke as Yuri will send constant Kirovs after it. It will take 2 nukes to destroy the Kremlin.
Guide. The enemy will send a bunch of forces at the start of the mission to harass your base so build a bunch of Sentry Guns around your Radar Dish, have a Flak Troops around to deal with Rocketeers. Capture the Tech Depot on the gem island so you can harvest them up first. Focus on building your Naval forces first, once you've destroy all their Naval units and their Shipyards, you can focus on their base. Use Dreadnoughts to destroy the shore defense and Patriot Missiles in the base to reveal more building you can destroy. Be sure to build a Nuclear Missile BEFORE you can assault the base and DON'T use it yet. Build up a bunch of Apocalypse Tanks and some Engineers. Destroy the Prism Towers around the Battle Lab, then capture it to reveal the Weather Control Device. In this 5 minute timer, the superweapon has lower HP and can be destroyed in one hit but after this timer it won't be so you have to strike. Nuke it and you're done with this mission.

Guide: This mission can be really difficult if you don't know what the Allies will throw at you. This is where I learned how key scouting and using doggos is. First thing you want to do is send some Conscripts to the village to deal with the Propaganda Truck which drops a reveal all map crate which is vital for defense. Send 4 engineers to the east and capture the Oil Derricks and Tech Depot. Finally send a few Conscripts to the bottom right and garrison all the tents to get some money crates. Don't bother building Apocalypse Tanks. Rhinos are more than enough to deal with any ground threat. Be sure to have Flak Tracks, Troopers and Cannons around the cliffs of your base, especially for the last wave as they can one shot your Battle Lab if you're not careful. Have dogs around to deal with Spies, every entrance to your base filled with tanks and Tesla Coils and you are good to go.

Guide: Another very easy mission, capture the Oil Derrick in the lower left corner of the map. Build a bunch of Conscripts and push up the left side of the map. There a number of routes you can take but I choose to enter from the north since you get Shock Troopers reinforcements arriving. You'll want to eliminate most of the forces close to your base so the mission doesn't drag out. Once you are in range of the Eiffel Tower, send 3 Shock Troopers to charge it and watch the magic unfold.

Guide: A very easy mission. If you do it right you can stop the Allies from building their base. As soon you can get a Ore Refinery up, order the War Miner to harvest the rich gems for double funds. This is key to completing the mission quickly. Have 3 or 4 Miners harvesting this ore and you won't run out of money. Start building Rhino's and send them all the way to the other side of the map. Build a bunch of Submarines too, send some to the other side but leave the rest at the Shipyard. When the fleet arrives, have the small houses garrisoned to deal with the invaders. Use the Rhinos to destroy all the transports before they reach land and use the Subs to destroy the Destroyers on both sides of the map. You do this quickly enough and you'll skip the Korean Commander transmission.
Guide: Capture the Oil Derricks and Garrison the building just outside your base. When the Psi-Troops arrive,, move them out and use them to mind control Grizzly Tanks then attack, then use them to random random Pill Boxes and Garrisoned Buildings. Build up a large force of Rhinos, plus Flak Tracks loaded with Flak Troopers and storm the Allied Base. Garrison the World Trade Center for crates and map reveal. Defending the Psychic Beacon is really easy as long as you have enough troops.
Guide: A very simple mission, build about 10 Submarines to deal with all the Destroyers and the Shipyard. Build about 20 Rhino Tanks to deal with the Allied Base. The Allies have a bunch of Grizzly's defending the base but that's fine since Rhino's are superior. Destroy the Conyard to make the Allies sell everything, then easily deal with the remaining Blues. Capture the 2 Ore Refinery's for money crates, then sell them. Capture the two Oil Derricks in the top middle for extra cash.

Unlike the battle theme, (which was an absolutely phenomenal arrangement), this butchered the original. Sometimes, less is more.
Guide: This is the hardest mission of Red Alert 2 I'd say overall but the actual difficulty varies depending on the Soviet's attack patterns, they can send Kirovs very early on or very late on, I got lucky here. The strategy is the same either way though, deploy a bunch of IFV's and Patriot Missiles to deal with them. Capture the Oil Derricks around your base and garrison the buildings ASAP. Once you have a War Factory, build a NightHawk with engineers and send it around to the left middle side and capture both Nuclear Reactors so you don't have to worry about power and can sell your power plants. You also want to capture the 2 Oil Derricks directly east of your base but be sure to have some tanks to destroy the Rhino around there. Once you have a Battle Lab, build a Spy Satellite and Chrono Legionnaires, take them down to the Soviet Reactors and erase them to cut off the power, ending their Superweapon threat. Build Mirage Tanks and Prism Tanks to deal with the production buildings of every Soviet Base, then head down South and take out the main base and Kremlin Black Guard. Boom! You've completed the Allied Campaign! Congrats!
Finally got around to playing the DLC. This was too stressful but in a super enjoyable way. Itâs crazy how much they throw at you at once. From it seeming like a normal fight to changing the battle scenery to the AOEs (đ), and that final phase. I donât even remember looking at the health bar at that part, I was just staring at my ability cooldowns timers lol. 10/10 Canât wait to retry on ultimaniac đ
*Guide:* The Soviet attacks on your base can be crippling if you don't know how to deal with them. For starters train 2 SEAL's and destroy both bridges north and south of your base. Keep the SEAL at the north bridge on standby for whenever it gets repaired. Next is key, build your war factory and place it north of your Conyard, this way the Soviet Dreadnoughts will pass by the south destroyed bridge, at which point you can use the SEAL this to easily destroy both of them. You can try and save your Ore Refineries on both islands but they're not super important. Don't worry about Naval Units, just build the Chronosphere, Mirage Tanks and Prism Tanks. Once you are ready, Chronoshift them down to the Soviet Island, destroy the Nuclear Reactor in the bottom left, then the one in the main base to keep their power off. Once you attack the main base their tanks will aggro so you'll want some Mirage Tanks with your Prism Tanks. You will likely lose your initial force here but that's fine, just build another one.
