u don't like driving n sleeping in small places, so why do u want a camper van? 😂 we hv 2 look beyond wants n checks our capabilities. :)
Perhaps seek a compromise and rent one for a few weeks to see what it’s really like. Also los of CV advice on Cameron Neish’s channel
Looking for ideas for my Ford Tourneo. Thanks!
You can do something like l did or look at Man on the Outside channel. But as it has a low roof height, it is limited as to what you can do. You could also do a full conversion to open the roof up. There is a garage in Newcastle that does this to Ford Tourneo.
Another great interesting video keep up the good work
Thanks, David. I'm trying my best.
Tony, a great and informative video of the history of the area . As history buffs my wife and I appreciate all your hard work in producing this content. Hopefully we may be able to get back to Scotland in the near future to see for ourselves. Thanks. By the way as Brompton owner’s we were wondering if you think the MiRIDER Is a better bike overall.
Thanks for that, John. I had my Brompton for 12 years, but it was time for a change. Mirider is better because you can go on most types of trails and can put chunky tyres on it. Everything is integrated, with the battery in the main tube. It's also not a bad fold, and if you have a Honda Jazz, like me, you can put it in the back seating area without folding. I would say go for one if you fancy a change. Overall, l think it's better.
Great video Tony, bought back memories of our visit and our ride on the wheel.
I'm finding at £17.50 to go on a bit much. Especially if you have family with you. But it's unique and a once in a life time thing.
John, l deleted the "Witches of Boness" video by misstake and l think you commented . I've re uploaded it, can you comment again so l can reply. Thanks Tony.
Another great video nice viewing
Thanks David
Hi Tony, another great video. We are wanting to see the Kelpies ourselves soon. We went on the Falkirk Wheel a few years ago and it was great. Have you done the wheel yet? It would make a great video.
I think l did John in one video, but it was ages ago. I will be going there in a week or so. Hopefully, it's a good day, and l can do a new video there. Hope you get to the Kelpies soon, John and thanks for always supporting my channel.
A grand wee video, I really enjoyed it. A simple walk can be such a tonic, especially with a good friend. ATB Big Dave Scotland.
Thanks Dave.
All d best, judith Neil. ❤
Happy Birthday ate Judith ❤️❤️❤️
They all had a great time, Stephanie.
Food looking hella great
Thanks Natty.
❤
Very nice
Nice beautiful location here
Thanks, Natty.
😊
Did you sort out the niggles with your MiRider? The noisy motor and the front lamp to name but two ?
No, Maureen, it's still on hold. It's still running reasonably well, though. It's a shame it came out the factory like that. Their quality control is poor from my point of view.
Thanks for that, I'll start carrying an adjustable wrench from now on.
Lovely video. :)
looks amazing Tony. Happy Birthday for the other day. I liked the drone footage.
It's well worth a visit, Raymond.
Good 2 remember d beautiful Abbey.
❤
Another great video
Thanks David.
Amazing place, must visit.
Yes, it's good to go there, John . Also, Culross is a very historic village, you will love it. Phone ahead for the Abbey, as its seldom open apart from a Sunday service.
Good video but you should have told everyone the weights are made of polystyrene ha ha
I thought that was an advert at the begining. I was waiting for the skip button to apear 😂.
It's a free intro you get with the power director app. Hope you are keeping fit, Raymond. Cheers Tony
As an also 6"+ Dane, our Bromptons in, I suppose all of Scandinavia, are sold as Standard with the Long Type, 600mm seat post. Also owning a very sturdy, German B&W travel box, I found out it couldn't hold it inside, with the long seat post, so I asked Brompton and was advised to buy a "Telescope Post", for easy removal of the seat and top! But being effectively two tubes and an extra clamp, it was "heavy", so I changed to a new titanium 535mm standard post, black, as my bike is a "black version", but I turned the new and lighter version clamp on my seat below the seats frame, to give a little more high. For now with many changes and titanium and carbon additions, my bike, with mudguards, weighs 8,5 kilo, as a now much former than 2019 SuperlightM6LXBrompton!! With a little more work on mostly my mudguards and brakes, I expect to be able to reach 8 kilo, or below, so why a T-Line, especially with all the present problems with water and dust coming in from the new holes by the hinges? Finn. Denmark
I'm sure it's a fantastic bike now.
@@keep-going For now with - near all possible titanium and carbon additions of loose parts, I still hope to be able to reach a near to, as low a weight as a Standard T-line, with 4 gears and mudguards! So why buy an early experimental bike, still with that many problems, it seems, when I'm able to do the same with an old Top bike and for - much less money😁? Finn

Another great video Tony
Thanks David.
❤ good job. :)
Spring is around the corner hope we have a good summer keep up the good work
Thanks David
Please can you let me know who your car insurance company is? The one that was okay with the seats being taken out? I’m gong to do car camping this year and I want to make sure I’m covered :)
Hi Yasmin, l was with Esure at that time. Good luck. Thanks, Tony.
@@keep-going thank you so much 😊
crappy weather doesn't help either mate. Ray
Yes, Ray, it's been so windy here for weeks now. Hope you had a good Christmas.
@@keep-going We did thank you. hope you had a good one too.
Good job. :)
Good for you go for it. I bought me an Estarli 16.7 such fun, waiting for drier weather though, Enjoy
@bromptinowner763 The weather shouldn't hold us back, but unfortunately, it does to an extent . Most people in retirement just sit about all day, but I'm trying to keep them moving 🤣. Depression soon follows, and it's very hard to fight it. Keep Going to the end and never give up is what I'm trying to say to pensioners, me included.
if you have the right clothing and the wind is not serious its pretty nice
Yes, l keep harping on about that in quite a few of my cycling videos.
Hello there, can you please tell me how long is the telescopic main seatpost (only the thicker steel tube) compared with the original seatpost? Is there any difference in length between the two? I would really appreciate if you could tell me this info. Cheers.
Hi , I can't give you measurements as l no longer have that bike. But if you are 6ft 2ins or over, it's a must-have. Also, as you can see from the video, it fits easy into a small space.
@@keep-going no worries mate, thanks anyways for your swift reply. Regards.
Thank you for your video
❤
Thank you...I love the song and love your accent!
You have made an old guy happy 😊 All the best.
Buy yourself a mountain bike ,I’ve bought myself a Carrrera Titan X it’s brilliant much better than those small wheeled bikes and a lot more exercise than an e-bike .
I've got a full suspension mountain bike - a Calibre Bossnut.
@@keep-going nice bike I was going to get one but I was offered a deal on the Titan I couldn’t resit .
Hi Tony would you let me have the details of the camera you use and perhaps on your next video you might spend a little time explaining how you set up and use the camera,I’m hopeful getting back out on my bike again after Christmas occasionally with my wife occasionally with a couple of friends and I’d like to make a few videos.
Hi, It's an Insta 360 camera mounted on a small rig clamp. I just turn the camera on an go, as it has a 360 view. Editing is done on the Insta app on your phone. Thanks Tony.
@@keep-going Thanks for that I appreciate it ,I’ll have a look on line for the camera. One more question you mentioned mikes what do you use ?.
Blessings.
Blessings.
Thank you.
It is like comparing Apples with Pears. The Mirider has smaller wheels than the - horrible Brompton so its rolling resistance will be even worse, and it only fold into ½ a bike! A Brompton is fine for its main purpose, Transport as folded, and my former 2019 SuperlightM6LXBrompton now weighs 8,5 kilo (!) and still with its mudguards, as a "Rainy Dane"! I never leave home without them, as "The Brompton Stripe" up your back isn't that attractive for me. Also sticks gravel and stones are not welcome! Finn. Denmark
Thanks for that Finn. MyRider wheels are 16 inch - same as Brompton and you can fit wide tyres. I decided to go for one as l wanted a change after 12 years with the Brompton. I have to admit, l like it better as it's more a fun bike. Thanks Tony.
Never had any problems with my mi rider always makes me smile when on it,You must of had a dodgy bike maybe but mi rider got some fantastic customer service.🧁👌
Actually as I get older I need more gears…..
If it's a Brompton, three speed that you have, then just change the chain ring to a 44 . That's all you need to do. Cost about £30 to do. Also take two links out the chain. Making it a six speed won't help and will cost about £500
Yes. The answer is yes.
