But no mention of the drugs utilised in the dying phase, morphine is definitely a contender. We surely can't side-step the almost, certain response this will have on our conscious state during the dying process. I observed my wife's gradual decline & death from cancer, under the influence of strong sedatives & pain management medicines....she definitely saw beings & had visions, but how can one truly differentiate?🤔

Only witnessed it 2 times, for unknown reason regardless of effort , not able to return.. as if system gave only a devine look into something other than what I'd known. A sample from the source... It worked, never returned to humanity. Now 56 living in Arizona desert 80 miles from humanity, and absolutely enjoying life away from people. Play drums almost every day.. Dog Buddy is my buddy...glad this is occurring.. as if system itself is changing the way things operate. Government and monarchy's had there turn, time to turn the page and evolve. That black place was peaceful,, dis Not want to return and struggle each day when awakening...

You can pray anywhere, at any time and no one else needs to know : it is your relationship with God - (however you perceive him to be) - not anyone else's. A wise man once advised to not pray in public. It is outward show, lime today's virtue signalling ; has nothing to do with God. He went on (the wise man) to advocate that you pray in private, on your own in your room with the door closed. On your own in your room (your mind) at any time you can pray without moving your mouth. The physical and psychological effects are immediate and pleasant.

It's interesting that we are now speaking about the living beings beings being eternal. The really interesting thing is that this knowledge has been expressed in Vedic philosophy since time immorial. Srila Prabhupada in the 1960s brought this knowledge to the west to educate 'scientists' and leaders of society about the nature of the soul. Without such understanding we find ourselves in so much suffering as we have engage in ignorant activities which consequently lead to suffering. This talk is on the right lines but is missing the most crucial elements such as the science of self Realisation and science of God Realisation. It touches on the matter of love and the relationship between the soul and other living entities. However, bhaktivedanta philosophy which is hardly heard of explores these matters in great detail, focusing on the matter of love and how that relates to the souls natural constitutional position. After death, life continues , but what is the point of creating an animalistic consciousness which only leads to suffering in the next life? Bhakti is the art and science of loving God and other living beings and how to live respectfully in this life with the natural world. Read The Science of Self Realisation, Life comes from Life and Journey of Self Discovery by Srila Prabhupada and Bhagavad gita. ISCKON is the only scientific institution in the world that teaches the science of the soul and how it passes from this life into the next. Read and listen to lectures by Srila Prabhupada and you will see how this cosmic creation and consciousness actually works. Hare Krishna!

I ushered both my parents out of this life, at home, with the help of hospice. Both had exactly these experiences. Living in the US Bible Belt, my mother saw and pointed out to me angels, though I wasn't able to see. She met family members (one had recently passed unbeknownst to her) old friends, got help to "get over there," settled up with us all, and had an intense spiritual awakening about "going home." She had a final burst of shocking strength, got out of bed, and tried to pack a suitcase. My son put her back in bed and we assured her "they' would have all she needed when she arrived. My father described a beautiful city, a river running by his bed, and said "they" were sending a limousine for him. The first day Hospice arrived, his nurse told me, "Listen to him carefully He will reveal the secrets of the Universe." I did, and he did.

Okay, but why do those that are close to death see deceased loved ones ? It's no good just saying hallucination, hallucination. Hallucinations are random, disorganised, scary. These visions are ultra clear and real to the patients, so real that they are prepared to go with them and die. I don't see how you can get around that as a materialist.

@@vladimir0700 The brain has beliefs ? So you believe that your brain is a separate autonomous intelligence that has beliefs of it's own, separate from your mind ? Frank, it's your mind that controls your brain, even if you are a materialist sceptic. More to the point, when the brain is not working (as in cardiac arrest), there shouldn't be any experience at all and yet there is. 10-20% of patients who have a cardiac arrest report being conscious during that period when the brain is either completely off line and dysfunctional, or just mostly dysfunctional. In both cases, lucid well structured thought processes with reasoning and memory formation should not be possible or occurring at all, and yet they do. Your 'claim' is as old as the hills, it's what materialist science has been stuck on for centuries but it's all changing now, my friend.
