The major heat generators are the CPU and GPU, but a few chips always get hot so there are also in contact with the heat-sink. It isn't that bad

It's a DRV8302 chip, I attempted to replace it myself twice and failed. I made videos about that. Ended up getting it replaced by a pro I met on the esk8 forum

@YvonSmart so did you put 1 layer of the epoxy to cover up the glass dent and then after that dried, you then glued the mirror button

@@lwill4075 I fill the dent with epoxy and added the button right away. The epoxy get viscous quickly so it holds. But I only mounted the mirror next day

I think it's going to work, but the side buttons will stay on the further side, unless the English model uses a different variant ECM that requires the new head unit to come with a different COM decoder programmed for it. I doubt it. Since there is no check engine light, scanning for faults will no yield any results. However real-time info (live data) can show if air intake or O2 sensor reading is ok. If I were you I would just clean or replace O2 sensors and MAF sensor. Make sure air intake filter are in good condition, a lot of people don't replace it even after five oil changes

@@YvonSmart Air filter is new, but I will try cleaning the MAF, does the scanner tell you if Oxygen sensor is Bad? and if so on what mode?

@@alexshatner3907 The scanner can only read live temperature of the O2 sensor which isn't too useful. Just remove and inspect the sensor. Clean carbon buildup and reinstall, if acceleration improves you can get a new O2 sensor

I get good reception and it never lagged. Sticking the GPS module out would yield better reception for tricky situations, but I prefer the clean install. Same with the external mic. The built in mic isn't so bad I ended up ditching the external one

You are wrong, these are not 21700 35a. These are 18650 - 22P M Samsung SDIEM 5FX4 - 10A. If you look at the form factor of the pack at the beginning of the video, you can tell this is a hoverboard battery and they all come with 18650 cells. It's widely known. I could have tested the cells from the BMS board. I avoid doing that because if the BMS wires were pinched, loose or burnt; it would interrupt voltage to the board. So measuring directly on each cell is the way. So to you a lithium-ion battery can never read 0V? I hope this is a satire statement

You can rename a display by long press, select "Display Configuration", Then "Change title". For some reason, custom PIDs stop working when you rename them as titles are written into the ECM and has to match for indexing

Make sure to disable secure boot in BIOS settings. If this doesn't solve the issue try a different cloning software AOMEI Backupper Pro is a good option. Also the new cloned drive has to be in the same m.2 socket

Overall, this is a buy for me however it's now listed for almost $600 which isn't a great deal (I got it for under 500 a year ago). I see many similar options for half the price but I don't know what's the catch

You are very welcome. It does shrink the size a bit, a lil tight so watch the ribbon cable when closing the back piece. I might make a dash integration model to eliminate the phone style mounting option which isn't so great
