Why Zinger Is Different
The Zinger Chair is not an electric wheelchair and not a power chair. The innovative “turn-on-a-dime” maneuverability allows you to maneuver at home, parks, retail shops or restaurants with ease. Can u charge the battery while it's still installed in the chair?
Don’t buy this chair had mine for a year and a half now the motor went I don’t have $500 to replace it so I’m out 2,300.00 and the chair is now garbage. It’s a shame because I really enjoyed the chair for the year and a half that I had. It sucks that the motor is gone only a year and a half. That’s all you get out of it brother. The fucking shame.
Ok so when I bought this a year and half ago I thought it was the best thing I ever had it changed my life I was able to go with my wife to stores and out just about anywhere. Now it changed my life back I year and half later the motor blew now since my warranty is up they want me to pay $500.00 for a new motor well if I were you guys save your money I paid 2,300.00 for this chair and now it’s a heap of garbage. I don’t have $500 extra dollars for a new mother save your money people or find a more creditable chair.

Well it's great except if you have dementia and can't figure it out.
If a person has dementia, they certainly shouldn't be using this or anything else.
Never again will I buy a zinger nor tell someone to buy it. During Covid I did not leave my house. I needed to today. I don't use the ZInger in my house. Guess what the battery went to sleep as they like to call it and it is no good anymore. I have to buy a new one. a 3 thousand dollar chair and I have to buy a new battery because I did not use it every 2 weeks. So me advertising this thing when people ask. For now on I will say don't buy it. I use to say it's great buy it.

What if the person receiving the chair is paralyzed on the left side and can't use their left hand?
The company sells a joystick model for one hand use.
This chair would make you totally dependent on someone for everything else because you have to use two hands to make it move. Let me put the laundry away. Let me take my dinner to the table. Let me put groceries away.

Lol it’s very difficult to pick up the Zoomer and put it in a car. It’s too heavy and bulky... unless you are not handicapped and have strength you could do it. It’s def a sales pitch. I have to buy a new hatchback car to try and figure how to get this thing in it on my own... can’t do it with MS

In todays world you can't leave your chair alone without worrying about someone stealing it. It might not stop someone but it would make it harder for someone to use it. Charging can be done by plugging into the joystick to charge both batteries simultaneously or leave the chair in the trunk and bring in the two batteries to charge them separately.

I love the side-by-side comparison of the clunkier mobility scooter versus the Zinger. I am looking for a mobility scooter for my mom, but I could not handle assembling and disassembling a scooter, especially in the winter!

I just looked at customer reviews on Amazon. Currently, 37% of the reviews are 1-star (worst score). I don't think I've ever seen anything on Amazon with a score that poor.
I bought my husband one in March of 2019. It has truly been his lifesaver, as he has an undiagnose-able neuro disorder that has left him unable to walk. This chair is sturdy, safe and reliable, and I can fold and lift it into our Expedition with no problem. Don't believe reviews that tell you otherwise. We get inquiries everywhere we go, asking how it works, cost and where they can buy.
