As the years go by, RL is becoming less and less theme-based. Still looks good, but not as distinctive and theme-heavy as it was in the '80s and '90s.

Ralph Lauren home used to be so so extraordinary. Now that they have modernized it, it has become more like everyone else. Good taste, obviously, but not stunningly classic and out of the ordinary as it used to be.

Wow. Ralph Lauren AND Theodore Alexander. My two favorites. What a fantastic combination. The deco inspired pieces are especially beautiful. In lesser hands, deco revival always looks cheap and of poor quality. Here, however, the pieces look exquisite. Kudos to the stylist(s) that set up the showrooms. It's a breathtaking collection.
