What is wrong with you??? Why show a video of someone getting crushed to death, just so you can sell a camera? Seek help for your broken mind.

Honestly important. The amount of lifts that just FLY around warehouses on hopes and dreams is worrying. Ive been knocked across the shop before by a driver who took a blind corner outside the marked lift path without safety stopping. Was fine, but wholly unnecessary. Stuff like this will help, but hopefully wont pull attention from driving operations as operators will likely become complacent with the added assistance, as drivers have become with the introduction of parking cams. A major issue would be operators learning on these new, equipped lifts, and then being asked to use one without the added safety mechanisms. Most should be fine, but there will be drivers who cant transfer the skillset to the old equipment due to relying, even subconsciously, on the new systems and their benefits. Dumb example, but my ex couldnt park without backup cams because thats all she'd ever used and had never needed to use mirrors alone to park. People are simple, but the problems, complex.

Small screws won't hurt the forks and as long as you use this in a wharehouse to move skids it won't be likely to break off the mount. Unless the operator sucks, there is no fixing stupid.

What a dumb idea , seriously you cant expect it to last more than 5 minutes before being bashed off and drilling into forks is a huge NO NO .

That's not a good idea, you've shortened the forks reach on one side which will prevent the lift to pick up certain pallets, compromised integrity, and took the fun out of the guess work.

I'd use an adhesive but the idea is kind of cool.

why drill right into the specially treated forks. this reduces maximum weight capacity. not good.

You shouldn't be drilling into the forks , it reduces the life time of the forklifts and makes it un safe

I'm going to tell you something I've ran heavy equipment I never ran anybody over and I did not need a special camera put on the equipment to make it happen people getting accidents like this because of people that run in equipment or just phone in their job in you want to clear out some of the people in life take the warning labels off everything
