A little late, but you don't have to compress anything on the front brakes to remove the pads. Also, I highly recommend oem pads for this car. Previous owner on mine out cheap aftermarket ones and it squeeled like a pig

I am surprised about not making access opening from the factory. Is this a manufacturing defect from Cadillac? Almost every other car that i know of with the same fuel pump location has one.

I use Dremel with cutting wheel. I was careful to not cut deep and I still made a shallow cut in the tank.

lol i was screaming to put the camera down and use both hands... thank u for finally doing so... :) My car drives ok until i apply pressure to the pedal when i am goin up hill or getting into traffric from the on ramp ( which is dangerous cause mofos will run u over if u cannot get up to speed fast enough) i have picked up sediment ever since these gas prices have shot up to $5 a gallon where i live. i fill it up once a week but by half a week i am sticking just a 5 in here and there til i get paid every week. so ive been getting more sediment :( causing it to start to fail after 3 months of this routine. im going to dry vac the tankand suck out as much crap as i can thats resting in the tank before i put it back together. hopefully that will reduce future issues for a while. with it seemingly so easy to access i might make the dry vac thing a regular maintenance routine.

Im having a problem where my car starts up fine, when i go drive it for like 15 minutes and park it when i go into a store for like 5-10 minutes. I go try to start it and it just cranks and i dont hear the fuel pump. Once i switch off the ignition and try again the fuel pump turns on and the car starts. Im not sure what is going on if the fuel pump is going bad or what. I already replaced the fuel pump relay but it does the same thing

Thank you very much for showing where the fuel pump is and how you removed. My Accord started each time and then immediately stalled out and another video says it's rarely the fuel pump and that it could be the Main Relay. There are many other thoughts that it could even be the timing or the electrical part of the ignition or the fuel injectors, etc. The mechanic has the car and he said it's the fuel pump. Incidentally, it looks like you got into some gasoline spillage, which is nothing but you never want your skin to get gas on it. Please use rubber gloves on anything like this. Again, thanks.
