If we knew of a person of integrity, we would vote. Godless persons who support abortion, same sex marriage , and harmful sex education in schools are only a few of the terrible actions of elected members. My MP has told me often enough - my views on abortion are well known. I support abortion policies. In conscience I cannot vote for her. The others do not stand out as pro life. To write to them, there is a pattern - that they tell you what you want to hear. But they act differently. There is no push-back against immoral and sinful policies which militate against God.

But the question we should be asking is, why has it taken so long for someone with some authority to come out with this.

We are far too laid back relying on others, look for truth and faith,not the silence of the church that occurred during the pandemic. Move forward, wake up, we are losing our identity as Christian faith.

After the purging of former Lib Dem leader, Tim Farron, the deselection of David Campanale, because of his orthodox Christian views, is disgusting. Over the years the Liberal Democrats, initially a centrist pasrty, have lurched increasingly to the left. The left are bigots. the main focus of their hatred are Christians (and in the case of Labour - Jews). Such intolerance is both unaccpetable and unlawful under the Equality Act 2010. the Lib dems are very much buying into the appalling push by the left to exclude Christians from public life in this country. Once upon a time Christians like myself stood as Lib Dem candidates, without any harassment and prejudice from fellow Lib Dems. This was in the late 1990s and early 2000s. 20-25 years later the Lib Dem appear to have degenerated into marxist perverts. Very, very sad. We have the Labour Party to perform that foul role. The Liberal Democrats need to get their house in order and move back to the centre. Stop discriminating against Christians! We are entitled to our beliefs as much as anyone else. Small wonder then that the Lib Dems are being replaced by Reform as the third party in British politics. I was considering voting Lib Dem on 4th July. After becoming aware of this latest animus towards Christians I most certialy will NOT be voting Lib Dem.
