What lack of awareness is that? I mean, LSU played OU twice since 2000 and they beat OU easily in the 2003 national title game and they blew OU out in the 2019 playoff game. What more do you need?

As a person that’s been around for a long time g time watching back in the smash mouth days of the Big 8 I saw the OU vs Nebraska days when they dominated the line of scrimmage. Then the big 12 came into play & it was pass happy spread offense. The sec is smash mouth football that dominates the lines of scrimmage. So look at the National championships won by conferences over the last 20 years. So OU wants to play with the Big Boys now they’re going to get their chance. So we all will wait & see if they will be different or like the team that played LSU in 2019

We are fully aware of Oklahoma. Not just football but all sports. Oklahoma and Texas were the top 2 available brands outside of Notre Dame. It's just different over here. Texas and Oklahoma were always the darlings of big 12 football on media days. In the SEC they are just 2 more big brands in a room full of big brands. Texas were told they won't be UT, Tennessee is already UT and Oklahoma was picked 8th in the pre season. And if you look at all the programs in the SEC, picking Oklahoma 8th is about right. No disrespect it is what it is. Big paychecks are coming but that comes with a few more losses.

I would say that most SEC fans are unaware of any teams outside the SEC, but also they have a superiority complex. No matter what OU, Texas, Ohio State or any other team's history, they don't think it measures up to the SEC. Hopefully, Texas will give them a heavy dose of reality, continuing what started last year in Tuscaloosa.

Agree on A&M. I think they have been plagued by having people in University leadership trying to make football decisions. But, if they get that fixed, they will be a force.
