I will always love this song
Just discovered this song. I've listened to this guy for awhile now, specifically from The Plot In You. My fiancee left me 2 months ago. We were together for 5 and a half years, she cheated on me and sought validation from other guys during the final year we were together. She manipulated me on multiple occasions, and disregards my issues with my dad possibly passing away last year, and all sorts of new medication I was prescribed with. I'm off the medicine because I wasn't me. She told me our final year together was horrible, and when I tried explaining why and mentioning all the surprise dates I did for her and the little things too, she ignored it. Through a bad year for me personally, I still gave her my heart in all the ways I could. However, she was tempted by another guy and she must've been told something she liked. I helped her move out because I was raised to be a good man. I'm turning 25 soon, and I want kids before my knees ache. I want to play catch with my someday son without getting tired too quickly, like my dad did with me. I proceeded to give my now ex fiancee space, then sending her a few texts here and there, letting her know I know what's happened, but I still want to make things work. My buddy found her on dating sites within a week of me helping her move out and her leaving me. It shows how much she cared for the relationship and me, even after paying for her college. I don't know why I'm deciding to share all this here, but I feel like I should open up at some point. My point being, this song really hits home, inspired me to write a song myself, and I'm proud of it. Landon is very talented and I'm glad I could find such a relatable and powerful song at the right time.
