As a student at TTC, your maths videos, especially in Calculus, have been instrumental in allowing me to approach and learn the subject. Your lectures and guided notes have made learning Calculus feel possible, and has motivated me alongside bigger math youtubers like Numberphile and 3Blue1Brown. Thank you SO MUCH for all the recorded lectures and the obvious effort in creating useful notes and demonstrations.💜
The heights of adult women are normally distributed with a mean of 63 inches and a standard deviation of 3.8 inches. What is the probability that a randomly chosen adult woman will have a height greater than 59.6 inches?
What a terrible explanation!!After watching this explanation, I'm still confused!!😠😠😠The most annoy thing about algebra is when being given an example problem to learn from, the example problem is usually the easiest problem from that certain algebra topic. After that, I'm usually given the hardest problem of the math topic. Algebra is that one math subject whereto can solve the problem step by step correctly and still get it wrong!!!!!!
Great video; there was a small mistake at 3:42, though, when the upper bound was written down, the 4270 was changed to a 4240. As such, the correct answer to that question should be 0.8995861762.
i also have the question of what comes next if it is a percentage. the percentage was 19.2 and i moved the decimal over 2 places left making is .192 i may have done something wrong ive just got no clue what
thank you! I'm trying to study for pre-calc and couldn't find a good video that explains with a coefficient greater than 1 and wasn't as clear and simple as yours. It helped me understand so much better
No comments, so i will be the first! your video is very helpfull

what if we have a symmetric uniform distribution (i.e. same frequency in all hist. bins). Will it have larger variance than C or lower?

wow very good explanation!
or you can just set the function equal to half of its limiting value, in this case 50, and solve for x. It is much simpler that way.
your video sucks!
Thank you! Very helpful video!!
thank you David! I couldn't figure out this problem on my calc homework 🤗
the worst microphone i have ever heard was too distracting to learn anything. sounds like ur driving 160mph with the windows down.
