I think your chromatic Bandoneon doesn’t sound like a Bandoneon to me. It has the tone of an accordion. The very expressiveness of the bandoneon is from its bisonoric nature. Like the harmonica. imo, anyhow.
Sound differences between bandonions are the result of construction, material and manufacturing quality, but not of the bisonoric or unisonoric tone assignment used. Mein Großvater war Mitglied in einem Bandoneon Orchester. Und Ich „durfte“ Anfang der 1970er mal Bandoneon lernen. Aber ein wechseltöniges. Ich wusste bis gerade nicht, dass es diese Kusserows gab. Btw. bin dann zur Gitarre gewechselt… ich hatte gerad die Beatles entdeckt.
