The main shaft of the motor has a spiral grove cut in it that pumps oil up the shaft. I would pull that shaft out and make sure that grove is not restricted in any way.

@@CeilingFansFans -- it might be one or more of the copper coils. can you take a wooden stick and put some pressure on them and see if the noise changes?

I happen to have this fan installed in my bedroom with the light kit on it. Same color and all. I’m absolutely obsessed with it and it blows so much air. Being a 13 year old and being to install this fan without any help was really useful. Givin it was very easy to install.

Delta II with the “Jazz Hands” Light
Builder's Best didn't come with a light kit.
The pull chain is set to medium.
I wouldn't find both on updraft necessary. If it's to circulate air from the floor to the ceiling, one on downdraft would be fine. Also those are wrong switches, those switches are made for Hunter Original which draw more current.
Would you ever reverse the chain sequence to save the flywheel, unless it's already replaced with a metal one?
