Great video, really enjoyed it and returned memories are always welcome. 😃
man I miss the north so much
Really great video, thank you for posting!
What preparation did you have for grizzly encounters ? It's on my bucket list to travel there someday.
I want to move to Inuvik and do my programming thing from there. Is the internet good enough there?
You can get starlink buddy
I'm fascinated by life out here.. What kind of food do you guys have access to? is it affordable? What about the beer situation, looks like no shortage of nice booze which is nice!
Beautiful - thanks for sharing your adventure!
Thanks for watching!
Wow! Amazing! I'd love to make that trip some day.
It's worth the trek!
Very nice! We plan on doing the same hike in early August. Looking forward to it.
Awesome! We did this hike in early August last year. Enjoy!
@@kellyface Have you looked at hiking the Laugavegur and Fimmvorduhals in Iceland? We did that in 2019, I think you'd like that one too. Some of the landscapes look similar.
@@KeithDuhaime I haven't but I will look them up. Thanks for the suggestion!
@@archie15900 Thanks! Have been looking forward to this since we hiked Chilkoot back in 2011. We're also hiking Tonquin Valley in July this year too.
2 people got lost and disliked the video ;-)
My Hometown.....🥰
Fantastic!
Beautiful! This looks like a place I visited back in 1980. Is it Bock's creek and Bock's lake?
Hi Jonathan, thanks for watching! Yes it is the hike to Bock’s Lake. Such a beautiful place.
This was a pretty neat video, thanks for sharing :D
Thank you! Thanks for watching :)
Happy birthday thrasher!!!
Thanks Bogdan!
When the permanent frozen land melted, it looks like deserts. No tree, no grass grows on the mountain
Incredible video! (shots, editing, music! Good job!!) I spent three year in Aklavik. Seriously considering going back up there. I just miss the North so much. It's a very special place.
Thanks for watching, and for your lovely comment! I couldn't agree more - the north truly is a special place :)
Okay. Hello! I'm just a kid from the Midwest, USA. I love space, and the idea of going to places no ones ever been. That's why I'm so into backpacking; things like this. I've only gone on one backpacking trip with my dad and a couple friends, and that was a lot of fun. Hopefully in the future I get to go more often. However, my family doesn't make much money, so I'll likely never get to go on a large expedition, like you guys got to. I just wanted to say: keep doing this. The Earth is such a wonderful place, and there's so much of it to see. You guys keep the dream alive. Best of wishes, - All of Iowa.
Wow 😳
awesome video! I'll be heading there soon for some work, I'm excited to find sometime for adventure! PS great music
I loved watching your videos. Are you guys a group of teachers? I am teacher and my husband is becoming a teacher, and we are thinking to move up to Innuvik. Do they need music/social and math/social teacher in your school? Thanks again for letting me know.
Hi Marjorie, Thank you! Inuvik is a special place. I am not a teacher so I cannot say, but you can look up available teaching positions on the Government of Northwest Territories website.
@@kellyface Thanks Kelly. How is in infrastructure of the city? How many years have you been there? We were thinking to go up north and stay for 5 years. Is there any major problem we need to be aware about the city? Does amazon prime ships to town? (And/or any other company?) How is the community?
As someone who lived in Inuvik Region for 28 years and traveled to every community, you have created a beautiful video of the wonders of the region! Well done, love it!
well done video, I enjoyed it, I am from Inuvik but now in Oshawa/ Ottawa/ Nunavut for 30 years. just a slight correction, Inuvialuktun is the language. Nunakput is our land
Judy Allen, thanks Judy. It must have been an auto correct as I am aware of the proper terminology of language verses area.
Wow, this looks like Lapland but more raw. Greetings from Lapland
Hi Arthur, thanks for watching! I would love to go to Lapland one day.
Very good video. Just really loved it.
Hi Sharon, thank you very much :) It's a beautiful place to live!
How do you stand those mosquitoes?!
Awesome vid !!
WOW!
wow, nice video. Well done! Love it. I miss Canada!!!!
Thank you very much Lisa! Canada certainly is a beautiful place to live. Whereabouts are you now?
Mom says WAY TO GO.
We've spent 3 years up in Inuvik and was most awesome 3 years of my life. Great place to be. I will always cherish those 3 years
