I asked Johnny to do this one. He did The Joker first which went to number one in the charts. This song did nearly as well. You are right though. You do not hear Abracadabra on the radio these days for some reason.

Church Street Is the main street in Liverpool. Quite a long street. I think the Vodaphone shop in the background is the give away

Obviously not. He is 26. So he was born well after Elvis died. I enjoy listening to him. I am sure there are many many worse Elvis impersonators than him.

Delighted that you enjoyed the video. Had been wanting to use the Classical Symphony as a backing track for one of my slideshows for a while and this seemed to be the perfect opportunity to do so. Am not familiar with the painting you mention. Never heard of him. I should advise you that some art works that Leverhulme owned are now tucked away in other rooms not open to the public. A member of staff would know where this one is maybe.

@@retroguy49uk On my channel I have some fragments of what in the 90s was named in Liverpool the best Beatles tribute band in the world, even a former manager of the Beatles said that the band in question sounded better than the Beatles before they went to Hamburg, their name is "The Beats" and they sound great and they are from my country (Argentina) here we are very beatlemaniacs

I love to go to Liverpool with my camera to take pictures. The first song is called Needles and Pins by the Searchers. It was a number one for them.
