WOW the facility in Turkey looks amazing. An interesting story about bad calls and Ajdukovic's honorable conduct. It's interesting for me to see the players have to adapt to the hard courts, something I take for granted being in the US. Looks like the players are each showing different positive signs. Thank you for the great video and narration.
Thanks a lot, Yes, it is a nice facility. Changing the surface after several months needs some time.
Jurij im Finale! Die Spieler sind gut unterwegs!
Und es ist ein langes Finale. ..
Ein ,,day in the life‘‘ video mit eurem fitness program wäre auch mal sicher ein cooles video
Danke für die Anregung, werden wir bei Gelegenheit machen
Good results
Thank you
Super interessant.
What a nice content
Thanks a lot
Appreciate the wide scope of tournaments covered
Thank you
Servus!
Congrats to sebastian and jurij, even that he lost in the final round. But he did end a career😂
yes, surprisingly there was the career end. Thank you and let's see what the next few weeks will bring
Great mindfulness insights
Thank you 👍
Somehow the coach is not very optimistic or at least it sounds like this😊
@@GGg-yj5uf it is about a relatively neutral presentation of events where emotions are intentionally in the background
Go Slava, go!
hopefully
The heat is tough
Very true
Super thorough and honest as usual
Thank you
Auf gehts matej
du auch 🙂
Erster😂
yep
How do the players keep motivation from week to week as the results are not shiny?
The competition is hard and results are for the moment. If the players feel, they are improving as a player week by week it is easier to handle the loses
Love to play in the heat, but the high himidity is what is killing me. Cold water on your cap feels great in the heat. Hope Jurij is doing good on Hard court! Lets go!
Thanks, yes hope Jurij will have a good start
These courts look sick keep grinding boys 🎾
we try 💪
Playing in a heat sure is very difficult. If Slava sees this, I have a tip for him: don't hesitate to pour water on yourself during the short breaks between games. Bring a liter bottle or two with you, unscrew the cork half way and pour it on your face and top of your head, maybe belly too. If you haven't been doing it already, give it a try. I know it's harder to remember about this during a match and it may not look as professional but it will help you when it is really hot outside. Good luck, Slava!
Cold water on the head feels so good in the middle of a tense match 💪
Thank you, it's worth a try. Slava has also recently changed his diet, without sugar. Certainly also an adaptation for his organism
Congratulations to your players on their progress. I am curious about what changes you envision for Jurij, and what "switch" needs to change in his head. Perhaps that is too private. I like hearing how much you believe in the players and your commitment to their process.
Thank you, of course I can´t go to much into details about Jurij. For obvious reasons he needs first of all gain trust again to win tough matches. And he needs more quality weeks of practice to strengthen this trust.Understandably, I don't want to talk about further details here. Switching to hard court could also be helpful
You are my new favorite travel vlogger✌️
Thanks😄
Agreed. 😆 I love the attention given to the cities and the club facilities... the tennis is kind of a nice backdrop. It's such a refreshing change from the nonstop attention we give to on-court work.
@@ybakos Thank you
Love your content as it's super insightful, keep up the great work!!!
Thank you, I will try
Great video, thanks for sharing. Was in Umag with the family. Great place to watch some great tennis up close.
Nice place to go with the family , I agree
Hello Question when you win a match in qualifying do you take a points?
Hello, at Challenger tournaments you get points, usually 2 ATP points for a match. At Future tournaments there are no points in qualies
@@BetweenTheFencesTennisEdition I mean like tournament M15
@@user-rx9bu4yk1f For 15 k and 25 k Futures there are no ATP points for winning matches in the qualies
@@BetweenTheFencesTennisEdition what's about itf points same?
@@user-rx9bu4yk1f last round of qualies you get for ITF
this us very good
Thank you
Congrats!
Thanks
Good stuff, tx
Thank you
Hi, Does each of your players have development plan? Do they know what and why they do on the practice court? From what age such plan (if needed at all) should be prepared for the player? How is the progress evaluated (besides the wins in the tournaments)? Thanks in advance.
Hi, in tennis the players have certain aspects where they focus on, once they feel secure there, they go to the next stage. the fitness coach is monitoring during the tournament season and checking from time to time on their level. the progess is evaluated by mastering the challenges we work on and how soon we are able to step up to the next level. for us this is not happening in writing a plan, it is a natural process.
@@BetweenTheFencesTennisEditionok, it is not a big difference whether the plan is in written form or discussed orally. To understand you correctly, does it mean that the player knows what he has to do in order to achieve certain goal?
Exactly, our main challenge is actually to find the right priorities since there are still many things we would like our players to improve. So, step by step and not to many new aspects at once
Impressive progress. When you say a player needs to work on personality and behavior development, what is the end result?
Thank you for sharing the harsh realities of the ATP points at challengers and futures. Wow, to consistently win those puts a lot of continuous pressure on the players. When you mention the confidence in decision making, do you mean shot choice decisions? And if so, should they not be building their confidence by trusting their first instinct? Or is it much more complicated than this?
Thank you, on one side it is the shot selection, on the other side it is about certain situation patterns they have learn to overcome. Trusting their instinct should be the goal, but they have to get there
Crazy that they made it more difficult to get points in challenger tournaments
Only improvement possible if you go far in the tournament
Vielen Dank für diese super Einblicke! Tolle Videos

Super Video, danke. Ich dachte es geht um Muster, Skoff und Antonitsch ;)). 🤷♂
Danke, naja einer deiner Genannten passt da vielleicht nicht wirklich dazu ;-)
Another beautiful club and setting. Too bad about the clay court quality, that is surprising. I will share this with some of my older Romanian tennis friends, I am sure they will enjoy your narration. And trust me - that hotel is nicer than the one in Estes Park, Colorado, from The Shining. Much safer, too. 😅
Say hi to your Romanian friends. Sounds like you have been at the shining hotel 🙃
These are very interesting. Thanks for sharing the experiences.
Thank you
Does the tournament have to end on Sunday or will it be prolonged to the weekdays due to the weather? Because if not, this means for some players there will be two matches on the same day.
there will be two matches in one day in order to finish sunday
Thank you for as usual great behind the scenes content. Maybe a sensitive question: how can these players afford coaches as you?
most of the players in our group have a management group behind them, who are supporting financially.
@@BetweenTheFencesTennisEditionhow do you find those investors?
@@Bratenda Actually the investors find the players. If they see potential they are ready to support them
🎾💙👌 ce tournoi à quelque chose de magique
true, really unique

Thank you for showing us parts of the "real" Wimbledon that we typically do not get to see. Tough loss for Jurij. And behind all that hippy hair Bobrov is a strong player!
You are welcome. Yes. Bobrov is a special guy
The Poznan club looks amazing. I hope this group of players continue to improve and push for more wins, especially Jurij.
Thanks a lot

Won’t be long and qualifying will be next to Wimbledon main site on the old course. Commercially it will be a 3 week long event making loads of money. A lot of people to go to Wimbledon, but very few actually follow or play the sport which is a shame as the grass roots players should get priority. Wish more money was ploughed into provincial courts which are in a dire state.
Let´s see what will happen
Tx for that behind the scenes
I am glad you like it
Thanks for sharing the stories from the other side of the TV! Subscribed and I will be following your journey to see you and Jurij at Wimbledon next year
Cheers for Juri for even getting to Wimbledon! Hope we see more of his performance later.
Yes, I am positive about it
