i love nendos! you got such cute ones! i got marcille dungeon meshi in this month along with the alice caroll one from aria ;0; i will say buying nendos online isn't the biggest savings but for other figures you can sometimes half the price just preordering even from a US seller than getting that con mark up, but buying at the con is way more fun i'll admit

I first watched daiya in middle school, right now after re-visiting the series as an adult it just got better and better for me as well. especially the different dynamics and parallels of some characters is just so masterfully done.

Yakushi best rival team fs. Mei has some of the best moments in the entire series. and Amahisa is just highly entertaining all the time. Yeah Ichidai- Seido is the best match. The biggest highlight for me in Act 2 is still seeing Sawamura and Furuya's rivalry reach new heights and then Okumura's character. I really loved Okumura and Sawamura relationship. We need act 3! more Ace Sawamura and pro storyline

I thought I would only collect album cards but zb1 have so many pobs, and so many that are cute that I eventually got some of gyuvins pobs too :)

I would like to buy the Look Up figures because they are so cute, but so far, I haven't liked any characters. And I am in the same boat with Nendoroids. They look cute but so expensive and all the characters I want have a pair type character so nope again :(

Sawamura and Maruo gotta be the most underrated sports protags imo. Sawamura's development is something. hes my favourite protagonist tbh. i usually dont even like loud mouth characters that much. Miyuki is a character i have such mixed feelings about but hes so popular because of his looks lmao. the trolling can just be a bit much and the way he can't emphathize with the underdogs. Daiya actually got me into baseball because of the interesting strategies and the psychology behind it. Furuya and Sawamura's rivalry is honestly one of the best and it's sad how much hate Furuya gets. the way they motivate each other to get better and their friendship. The character dynamics are soo special in general. all the parallels with different characters

I watched the anime and read the end of the manga at the beginning of 2023 and loved it ! It’s getting a French physical release next month in omnibuses and I’m super excited for it, hope it gets licensed in English physically as well !

Do you spend a lot of money on k-manga? I was looking at it and you get free passes but I’m assuming eventually they’ll run out, and the credits look expensive

How many volumes does the Apothecary Diary get up to in the season? It's been a while since I've read it, I think I have 3 volumes on my TBR right now, I was thinking maybe I should watch the anime to catch up and then read the volumes I have waiting.

The anime of Apothecary diaries has adapted 2 vol of Light novels and i recently finished LN vol 11....trust me it just gets better and better.

Omg you definitely put me on reading Ace of Diamond. I love baseball in RL;I have an uncle who was a coach of a baseball team as a teacher at his school. He also got me into really loving the Red Socks. But besides that;I had no clue there was even manga about baseball. I AM SO EXCITED TO READ IT.

Daiya read wooo. Do you prefer act 1 or 2 artstyle. i like both but sometimes I miss the thicker lines in act 1. always will be my #1 sports series and Sawamura the best mc. I'm gonna have to collect more Mandarin versions when i return to Taiwan. As for me i'm re-reading Baby Steps and I'm 65 chapters away from completing it again. it's as great as I remember it was. But i wish there was more ppl who read it so i could talk about it Since you're watching Apothecary, have you heard of Yatagarasu thats airing rn? it's not talked about much but i heard it's very similar. also has amazing mystery and politic related themes in a historical fantasy setting

I get it! I’m in a similar situation with the Mission Yozakura Family anime where I’ve read the manga so know what’s happening. However, the anime is doing some changes with the adaptation to streamline the plot and I’ve been having a great time watching it. I’ve also been recommending the manga to folks who have been liking the anime!

Yeah, I more love for daiya and cant wait for the new season to come out. I just recently rewatched all of the anime with my brother and it was his first time ever watching with me over the summer break from school. I regained my love for it and my brother just loved it, he's a baseball junkie and enjoyed the series. Also, I started reading a baseball manga on manga plus called The Days of Diamond, which takes a bit of a mature spin on a baseball story, the art reminds of a lot of Big WIndup, except different artist. I only read five chapters so far but its about a prodigious six grader who tries out many sports but he always seem to be on top of anyone and has trouble making friends/other kids make fun of his talent. I don't want to say too much but that's the basic premise.

I love my beautiful man. I def see why people wouldn’t enjoy but I love it. I’ve watched the series many times. And when i saw the manga was getting an official translation i was so excited

While I understand why some people have rough time with My Beautiful Man, I think the dynamic is very well written. It's about two boys who both were at their lowest points of their lives during HS growing up to be successful adults both in terms of careers and their relationship with each other. While I like fluffy HS romances once in a while, so many of them feel too fluffy and perfect to the point I couldn't take those relationships seriously. But if you'd rather only read a cuddly, squishy fluff you might drop this series rn. I don't want to spoil too much, but their uncomfortable, awkward interactions naturally changing into a healthy, stable relationship is what made this series special to me. They actually managed to find the good balance and live happily together, despite the fact their flaws are still present and occasionally cause conflict of interests. But imo, that what irl relationships are like.

Ooh Lucy! They have lovely songs, I really like Snooze! Speaking of idols, I haven't read Tamon's B-side yet, so I don't know how it compares, but I enjoyed The Yakuza's Bias, which is about a yakuza basically stanning idols, and I was crying with laughter, it really spoke to me as a kpop fan lmao. I've also seen the anime for Raven of the Inner Palace, and I enjoyed it enough to be interested in the light novel, so I will be looking forward to your thoughts!! I think it has bit of an Apothecary Diaries vibes because of the court drama and mystery elements, but it's been a while since I've seen it. (I also saw your comment regarding danmeis, it's definitely an... experience getting into them, but once you do, there are some beautiful love stories in there. I read Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation years and years ago, and the relationship between the male leads is still one of my favourites.)

I LOVE WITCH HAT SO MUCH. I was at the panel for the trailer reveal as well as at the Trigun panel cosplaying as Wolfwood. I also managed to get Ryoko Kui's autograph at Kinokuniya bc I somehow managed to snag tickets at the booth at AX (there were only 25) and Shirahama-sensei's as well. Even though I had a standby ticket for Shirahama, she signed through priority really fast and she had an extra hour just to sign standbys which was so nice of her! I really liked your vid abt your AX experience, tbh I wish I could've explored the con more but since I really wanted those autographs and to go to some panels, I barely had time to wander around so I appreciate you sharing!
