What a win. 10 games added to the collection. Super Crazy Rhythm Castle is probably the best game there, depending on the controls. I’m a big fan of rhythm games. Switch favorites being Theatrythm, Superbeat Xonic, Hatsuni Miku and Taiko no Tatsujin (needs drum set). I also like Rocksmith on PS4 (needs guitar).

Thank you for the review! I just have a question, for the RGB options in the software, can you actually setup two different colors for the effects? For example, in the breathing effect, there's an option that says top color and another for bottom color, so,can you set up pink for top and teal for bottom?

Does the ESRB not even try when rating these old games? How the heck goes a game where you shoot other drivers with machine guns and missiles get an "E" rating?! Even Sonic Racing games get an E10+ because there's weapons that make the other cartoon animals spin out. But in Fatal Run, you blow up other cars in big explosions... That kills people! No, I'm not all up tight, or offended, I just think it's funny how inconsistent the ERSB is.

Okay, I’m getting how it’s a spiritual successor to Bubble Bobble. The Parasol Stars I played on MAME, you use the same guy with the umbrella to create rainbows to traverse up the stage. The further up you go, the higher your score. When I saw this on the eshop I thought this and that were the same game. I was wrong. This has way more of a bubble bobble feel to it. Then again as a single screen arcade game, it could very well have been a spritual successor to Dondoko Don or Fairyland Story which are also Taito games.

Inin Games published Parasol Stars. I say this because they also published the Ninja Jajamaru games, the Turrican Anthologies 1&2 and Ultracore. With the exception of Ultracore, which is a bare bones game, you have the same menu options as Parasol Stars. Save states, load states, and video filters.

At the Repair Shop, if you drag the arrow to the 2 images of your car you can see what parts of the car need repairs. It displays a % of the health of each section of the car.

I fundamentally disagree with you, manual and the game mechanics. 🤪I do get into as many fights as possible in Fatal Run. Sure, the medicine isn't going to get there in time today. But I'm looking to the future, where the road is free and clear of those other cars and the medicine can get there more freely the next run. It could (it actually can't') happen! Plus, don't install machine guns on my car and not expect me to blast every car in my way. I don't even know if those other cars are bad guys. It's the post apocalypse and I have machine guns on my car!
