When I stopped playing WHFB, I stopped going to WarZone.

Warzone is and has always been an adventure. I always let people know I’m going there so they know where to look if I don’t make it home haha. In all seriousness, I love going there just to browse.

Got a used copy of this from a friend's older cousin around 91 or 92, choppy rules, though most of what we had access to was AD&D, so we didn't realize how choppy. We spent half a summer barely following the rules, but using resources from the book. I don't remember exactly, but it seems like we somehow misguidedly changed it to use d20s or d6s because those were the only systems we really knew at the time. Fun system, seeing this makes me want to make some phone calls and see where this book ended up, because I could modernize this and run it confidently as a fun setting. Carlos, you should probably pap John with a paintball pew'er when me mouths off.....just sayin...

Looks like someone grabbed a trash sheet instead of a clean one and printed on it a second time. There's also a chance they were just trying to line up registration and tweak color and didn't want to waste a fresh sheet. Wasn't supposed to go to the customer, though.

Konami treats their playerbase like nothing but money trees. Rereleasing the same card packs and sets in abundance for 25 years constantly really mOes it hard to see Value in pack releases. When the cards are already out there. Also their customer support and quarterly product updates are just not worth the investment anymore for the common little guy hobby/game shop. They fork out the $300 for a case of structure decks/booster boxes. And they just sit on the shelves for 6+ months. Meanwhile the consumer base for said TCG only comes into the buisness and bitches about prices and leaves. You're not helping the cause. You're literally propelling the cycles. Talk with owner or supervisor on duty. File your complain with them and see if it makes it up to the regional TCG supplier. Or Konami themselves. Bottomline. I dont even play Yu-Gi-Oh. I bought my first booster pack today as a gift for someone. I spoke with owner/supervisor on duty at Immortals today and the atory that was told here rings familiar to another situation that happened in Charlotte NC at a YGO Local tournament. Im gonna start playing YGO. im hoping to see other players at Immortals. Lets just step away from the heavy competitive nature and just have fun. See you all Sunday!

First of all, Great Review. But this is a miserable game. Binary choices, challenges you cannt solve, Invincible boss fight. Friends ridicule your failures, its hateful, hurtful. This game ends friendships. I regret playing it.

I feel weird about going in to a store to play with minis that I bought online (either from a shop or direct from a manufacturer, metal, resin, plastic or 3d print). Most of the shops around here carry the minis I like though. I know that's mostly ok. I'd never use a pirated mini at a store for sure, not that I would ever purposely get one. If it's a GW mini I'm looking for, on the other hand, I'd buy it at the store 99% of the time because of mark downs. The thing that I always buy in a store is paints.

As many people have already mentioned the "problematic," content is actually handled really well in Dark Sun. You are literally fighting to restore a corrupt world that has been literally defiled by evil wizards. It's a fantastic setting and I wish they would bring it back..

Great review! To be clear, the 3 scenario campaign mirrors the storyline of the campaign found in the arkham horror card game core box.

I mostly hate Primaris because their unit options are boring! GW resorted to giving them basic rules that are highly effective to make us want to take them (objective secured and guns that are assault, heavy and -1AP), but their weapons loadouts are BORING! Intercessors only have one option for special weapon. A grenade launcher per 5 marines. Where is the Plasmagun? The Meltagun? The Flamer? They also have no option to deal with armor. No heavy weapons at all. Tactical Marines have all that. Same with assault intercessors vs assault marines. No options. Sergeants have a small number of options, but not many. And don't get me started on the bikes! Hot garbage compared to Space Marine bikes. My Ravenwing cry bitter tears daily. The only functional equivalent is the Invader ATV. It effectively replaces the Attack Bike and I can field my Attack Bikes as the Invader. Similar weapons and similar footprint. I am not fond of the grav tank transport either, but why can't Primaris ride in a Rhino. Only to sell models. That's why. The Dread is not bad, but hard to build. My Redemptor is screaming to the sky because I aligned the legs wrong. 😑
