Here's an interior view of the updated buttons of a Fujitec at Anchorvale Village as a way to minimize hand contact and practice good hygiene especially, covid isn't a main concern nowadays. Was everbright, but replaced with touch sensors. The buttons on the right still remains unchanged. Date filmed: 12 July 2024

Went to Tengah today and visited the newly-opened Plantation Plaza to film the Brand New Fujitec, 5 days late. The only difference is the "up" chime. This new neighborhood centre has only 3 shops operational as of now. Skipped the service Lift because its busy and the wrappings never removed yet.

This new hub opened recently, under the name of "New Bahru", was a new place for me to discover, spent an hour to get there aft having alighted from Great World MRT. While i was on my way to New Bahru, i stumbled upon this Otis spec Tiara around Havelock area at Waterfront Plaza. It's joined with Grand Corpthorne Hotel and King's Centre, which was built around in the 1990s. This is a rare gem nowadays, the other known installation is at Bencoolen House. PC641U is owned by Kumar Limousine & Coach Services Pte Ltd.
It was formerly The Herenica. At that point when the school got converted to The Herenica, that was when they installed these XJ lifts.

I always ride on one of these and I’d say, the AC on this model is one of the best in CWL fleet but the ride itself can be quite annoying since the gearbox tends to hold itself on 1st gear before shifting to 2nd gear 😂 (the rest of the gear is fine tho’) I don’t know if it’s a known problem for Allison gearbox or CWL in terms of maintenance of the said gearbox.

Yes, it definitely is...but i don't want to mention the negative things regarding the incident that happened here 7 years ago. It's alr in the past.

@@YaoboyProd2K15 How was it so empty there? I also went yesterday and it was still in the middle of the line so busy. Beside. I didn't see you there despite being in Anchorvale Village mall for quite a while. I went from 1pm to 3.45pm and I had A&W there. It was good. :) 👍😊

Oddly enough ALL the lifts here have machine rooms, despite HDB practice of having MRLs for any building 25 floors or shorter.
Did you film the Express and Sigma Lift? The Express lift might get replaced soon during the renovation.

If you can cancel floors while the lift is moving, let's not hope the lift stops at a staff floor.
Thought Toshiba came and mod the unit all thanks to the similar looking fixtures. Got an IFE instead. Why?
The elevator i filmed back in March 2023 was still an original Toshiba.
Might have been ordered under the same contract as V Hotel, which is why KONE installed it instead of Toshiba? Strangely OTIS maintains this now despite KONE maintaining the Toshibas in the station.
There's actually also another legendary elevator down the road, the FIAM at Hock Mansion which has been in its original condition since 1975.
I'll visit one day when the gate is open.

What will they replace it with? If they say some high rise building, prepare for SP to become invaded by lift enthusiasts.
Best to go on Saturdays, where the businesses upstairs are closed but the front door is open.
I skipped this one back in 2021 because it was a Sunday back when I was in the area and the building was not open when I went. It’s a good thing it’s still there with the call buttons replaced to the HDB ones. However I might come back and film this very soon.
Actually LiftyGamez was the one who found this back in 2019 but I was the one who confirmed the name of the location 4 months after he uploaded the video in early 2021.
