The 4 minute tip that will save you 30 minutes of frustration to SMOOTH American Buttercream Icing
Icing a smooth cake, why is it so hard to do!? What if I told you half of the frustration comes from starting with rough icing to begin with? Let me share my 4 minute icing prep tip that will make icing a smooth cake so much easier and faster! Whether you're using scratch American Buttercream, Premade Buttercreams, or Betty Crocker or Duncan Hines. This tip will save effort and time! Even on home-made icings, if it's not freshly made, the icing settles and changes to a rough texture. Smooth it back out to that super soft, creamy texture that makes icing a cake so much easier.

p̳r̳o̳m̳o̳s̳m̳ 🙃

amazing!thanks a lot for the tutorial
Thank you so much! If you decide to take on the challenge, please me know.
I'm always astounded by your skills.
Thank you so much! So glad to hear from you.
That is so awesome!!!
What do you use to melt the styrofoam? Please and ty 🥰 for this tutorial
💕It is a heated wire styrofoam cutter. Here is what I used to cut my styrofoam! www.amazon.com/FloraCraft-Styrofoam-Cutting-Electric-StyroCutter/dp/B003ADDTG6/ref=sr_1_4?crid=2OG9DIS7COK49&keywords=styro%2Bcutter&qid=1654545971&sprefix=styro%2Bcu%2Caps%2C117&sr=8-4&th=1
If I'm using buttercream only between the layers, then can I fill the well with buttercream only? I'm working with small cakes but have had cake bulges everytime
Great Question! Yes, fill the well with buttercream!
Why the wafer paper going melt down when put on the icing after few houres
Wafer paper melts in high humidity. It might not be the icing, but maybe the environment where the cake is stored.
Thank you very much.... This is so simple and educative 😍❤️
This method can we use for ice cake
Yes you can! Any icing type.
It is ice cake Or butter cream cake
This one is buttercream iced.
Супер 👏👏👏🤩👍💥💥👋👋
Wow it's really a nice idea
Thanks a lot 😊

Yum

You're welcome
these look amazing. Great work!👏🏾🖤
Thank you!! 😊
Thank you....I was given the Testor blue compressor without an airbrush...can you tell me what the name of the one you are using. Thank you soooo much
These are badger airbrushes! I love them. They offer dual and single action styles.
Thank you soooo much
Thanks
Welcome
Do you have any 3D dress mold. I want to know how to use it with fondant and how to paint it using poppy paint.
Hmmmm....I'm not quite sure what you mean by 3d dress mold. But I do think that any dress you create will be BEAUTIFUL painted with Poppy Paints.
What do you call the name of the frame for the insides down cake
The upside down chandelier cake stands are a specialty item. They're sometimes also called a cake swing.
Beautiful! Natalie thank you, Perfect tutorial, I love your instruction. 😊💕
I'm glad you enjoyed it, Debra! Thank you for watching!
I overworked my first batch I ever made today.....had to drain it, reheat it, and walk it like toffee....saved it too. OMG. So frustrating. I have learned you have to be patient and gentle working with chocolate....learned it all today! LOL. XO
It's so easy to over do it. I have zero patience. And I should know better, lol! It takes 10 times longer to fix it. I'm so glad you were able to save it!! xo
It is the best
Wouldn't be able to live without them!! <3
Very nice!!!
Thank you! Cheers!
OMG. Those are big marshmallows! Looks good!
Diane, these marshmallows are absolutely MASSIVE! And super delish too :)
Thank you for teaching how to clean apples.
Our pleasure!
Is ur icing thick to do the dog fur?
It is! Thick enough to hold shape, but not so thick that it hurts my hand to squeeze. :)
So i tired this and i have no intention dipping it in candy and after a while my apples started squeezing out red sap.... Is it still going to be good to eat later down the road?
It will! You've removed the protective wax, so you'll want to seal that apple as soon as possible with candy coating.
Thank you, very informative
Thank you!
👍
I am going to play!!! Thank you!! Wonderful idea
You are so welcome! Great practice and great fun!
Awesome !!!
Thanks!!
Awesome madam thank you for sharing.
Thanks for liking
And if you wanna get away the pesticides under the wax, you need to give a nice Natriumbicarbonate Bath for the apple for 10 Minutes.
Interesting!
Hi! I tried this but my paramount crystals leave bumps in the chocolate! 😭 I’ve been mixing for 5 minutes and they don’t seem to melt! Am I doing something wrong?
I'm so late, this one slipped into the filter. If you are still struggling, you can melt the paramount in a separate bowl in the microwave, then pour it into your chocolate. :)
Thanks for sharing
My pleasure
I wish I could see you actually do this to a real cake
You can! Right here: czcams.com/video/cG6uhMDaYHE/video.html It's old school, but you can see what's happening.
Can we use this wafer paper in whipped cream cakes?
You would need to apply right before serving. Whipped Cream is water based and has the potential of making wafer paper wilted and/or mushy over time!
thank you for this detailed video, would you say red colorong macarons also require time to get darker? if yes how to do that without compromising the batter. Macaron batter left out for more than 30 mins tends to be overmixed or unusable
Yes, correct. The red does darken...but they will darken as they rest and form the skin.
I like to get a Little knife and scrape it of and wash it after
My knives kept biting through the skin. :)
very helpful thx
Glad to hear!
It is very pretty and easy to make As here we use wire in all flowers so don’t you think it’s a big issue to remove all flowers before cutting the cake for eating then it will not look good as it was with flowers.
Not at all. Usually the flowers are removed as the cake is served, and often displayed on the plates.
Beautiful! What would you use to attach the flowers to a real fondant cake? Buttercream?
For Fondant Cakes, Edible Glue! artisincakes.com/products/dab-n-hold-%E2%84%A2-edible-glue For Buttercream Cakes, I would use toothpicks or wire to keep them in place.
