man, im sry but i heavly disagree with you when it comes about shoto-mother, you cant just say "be prepared for this combo" because its such a niche combo, like imagine killing card slots just to deal with a single situation that no other deck is going to do. imagine if i had to be prepared for every potential threat: mirage's bounce, imperial's partition, hybrid/mother's tamers... there woundt be enough card slots on any deck out there, thats pretty much the deal, bandai needs to fix it, unfortunately dealing with tamers/mons with imunity (specialy when they are a literal imovable object) isnt something every color can handle

Canada come join the club with New Zealand, Bandai has giving tournament packs for One Piece and Fusion World in person regional in New Zealand for this weekend but nothing for Digimon and yet Australia (you could say the USA of Oceania) has had a in person almost every second month mostly in the same state I believe.

You're missing the point on the Mother / Shoto combo. It shouldn't exist, and it wasn't supposed to exist. Bandai made Shoto too generic just out of laziness. It was a mistake, the same way they made Apocalymon too generic.

I'm going to buy a box of EX07 and a Fable Waltz deck. I want the Hexebalumon stuff for Ice-snow later; and the Cendril stuff. Everything else I intend to trade or sell, to fund getting the stuff I miss from my box. If the market prices are good; I may even get a 2nd box. I made a fair bit of money selling my stuff from the last few things I got; and I still have two relatively big hits to sell.

I disagree on moma reaper but not because the combo is broken but because once bt 18 we have to deal with all the tamer evos and taunts that will force us into the combo and aces to back it up

I would like to make the educated guess that TyrantKabu is up in price due to being a potentially good match up against Imperial. Turning TyrantKabu cards sideways prevents it from being affected by most of the Digimon effects players hate about Imperial. To be fair, we have one player in my local competitive scene bopping all the Imperial players with Tyrant. Absolute Hero 😂

Im glad that Bandai let you know. Here (UK), it seems to be up to LGSs to tell us. BT17 was such a disaster. I still haven't seen a single BT17 card outside of the box i luckily managed to buy because i was one of the lucky ones who reserved from the half case that arrived.

Opinion on the new Mother support ?

EX7 meta will be fun in EN. JP didn't have a chance to explore EX7 because it was overshadowed by Numemon. We have some time before BT18 hits too. This will be a fun meta. Lots of new decks and ideas. I'm sure the best decks will float to the top, but the first few events after the release will be really interesting.

If you HAVE to have the out and build around it or your deck is screwed; it's a problem. Shoto-Mother is a problem.

EX07 is in a weird spot. In Japan; literally 1 card had any impact [Shoto]. The set was dead. But the banlist happened. So... well I still don't think the set does much with Imperaldramon running around and AGaru, but it might! Anbd I'm building stuff from it anyway because I want to!

All ill say is I can't wait to hear the sentence "Do you have spare shotos?" For the next 2 months

I think your point about mother shoto further pushes that point that it should be restricted pairing. If every deck needs to add tech cards to beat one interaction or be locked out of the game, its not a healthy combo. One combo is, in your opinion, warping how every deck needs to be built to get around it. Thats not good.
