The VERY Fat Cat of Jan. 9th 2023
After the fox came and ate the chicken trimmings and salmon skin, this very large cat came from out of no where to search for leftovers. Seems it can barely clear the ground on it's stubby legs.

this is pretty good, but nothing beats footage of the 125th {1988} it just looked so dam real! and the artillery sounded frightening in some of the 88' footage!
Awful - they would have DECIMATED each other at this distance - I love how NO FEDERALS went down ever. I did the hardcore thing and in one event called 'Down the Valley,' we reenacted the slaughter of the 8th new york. We were preassigned based on actual numbers who would be killed wounded captured run, etc. It was mindblowing to see. This is NOTHING like that. Sadly.
i was here at eh 150th...
Thanks so much. Im apart of the group the first 2 min. We are from California and 1 fell in from Queensland Australia.
Imagine doing that at a major fire for hours. They could only keep up a pace like that for about 2 minutes until fresh men had to be swapped in, and they swapped crews without stopping.
lol, I live here and I see stuff in real life all the time
I was there pards, Union Infantry private behind the stone wall. Absolute slug fest. *LIKED* and *SUBCRIBED*
Sharing my view at this same event 10 years later at the 160th Gettysburg battle - not quite as big, but what an experience. czcams.com/video/2RyZuGAAijM/video.html
I was a reenactor for 20 years and it was incredible...and some.of the cannons here are 12-13 inch navys😊😊
Soon 10 years ago - love it!!!
Maaan, this is huge and so exciting. A huge tribute to the history of a most unfortunate war. I wish I cold go and see this for myself... reminds me of the movie "Gettysburg" of course and its grand scale. It will be the 160th anniversary soon.
Vermont 2nd Brigade: Stannard’s superiors realized the significance of his actions. Major General George Meade said, There was no individual body of men who rendered a greater service at a critical moment then the comparatively raw troops commanded by General Stannard. Major General Abner Doubleday said: It is to General Stannard…that the country is mainly indebted for the repulse of the enemy’s charge and the final victory of July 3. [His] brilliant flank movement… greatly contributed to if it did not completely insure our final success.
Just plain silly to see such a major battle reduced to a "reenactment."
Show them yanked how-to die.
Gettysburg! A victory so great, Lincoln hid the truth until after he was re-elected.
"every southern boy can see themselves at Gettysburg before the war was lost" something like that, I think faulkner wrote something like that. the twin losses of gettysburg and vicksburg...vicksburg is really where it was lost.
These guys really do look like the Union Army
Fantástico... Espetacular
This is Amazing! Love it!! All who fought on both sides Were Hero's to fight in open field's ....
So Women actually walked the battlefield tending to the injured? They would have been shot too surely?
I don't see how that can be accurate. Does anyone know? I have read most of the citizens of Gettysburg had either left town or were in their cellars (which even that would have been terrifying).
Took a lot of courage to walk across that feid like that
15:16 that was gnarly bro
My son and I watched from behind the Federal batteries. Went on a last minute whim. Not knowing we’d probably never see anything on this scale again. If you went back into the woods to cavalry camp behind the batteries, there we no modern buildings in sight and you really got a feel for what it was like. Completely immersive. Just soaked it up for a while. A little bit of what my gg grandfathers experienced in the western armies.
love this
El gral.Sherman en donde esta ,diria ***La mejor batalla fue la q yo comande en Apomatoq x q no quedaron ni los cuervos murieron de hambre x q no quedo nada para comer con el incendio ****
Honestly, stuff like this is why I went to a reenactment, once, in 1994, as an 8-year-old and never once went back. Women running to and fro across the battlefield, the historical inaccuracies I mean its just a bunch of grown ass men playing war. I much prefer seeing the living historians who populate the national parks --aka the liberty rifles. To each their own
With all that smoke it must have been difficult for the Generals to work out what was going on during the battle.
This is absolutely incredible. God Bless all the participants for honoring the bravery of the soldiers from both sides
so glad the South was vanquished. If only they finished the job during Reconstruction.
@@0ThrowawayAccount0 what kind of idiot comes to a reenactment video to make their stupid political points? Why are you even here?
What a scruffy bunch!
Whats nuts is to think there were over 5 times the amount of troops during the actual charge. It must have been something to behold seeing 15k troops across a wide open field coming at you.
But apparently dropping like flies too lol
@@AudibleMotion yes they suffered intense casualties
Gravely disappointed homie didn’t follow that dropped bayonet
I will miss these reenactments... stupid people are getting them banned because their too stupid and sensitive to learn about history

I was there. My respects and regards to Sykes Regulars and the National Regiment. Excellent hosts and great 'pards.
4:31 God damn boy
Wonder how much paranormal activity this stirred up.
I could not imagine the fear and terror those men must have felt those days. But if we don't change our government, we will be back here, but deadlier
Damn with the Yankees
This is tame compared to Coopers hill cheese rolling in Gloucester England
Let's not forget Rita Fairbanks and the Townswomen's Guild of Sheffield, they were the first Townswomen's Guild to perform 'Battle Of Pearl Harbour' and 'Camp On Blood Island' and we should also include their rendition of the extremely popular and critically acclaimed 'Nazi War Attrocities'.
It's absolutely extraordinary how diligent and committed these fellows are to commemorating their history. Everything about them is a living legacy, a snapshot of Americans of the period. Including the fellow that dropped the bayonet, that's as old as warfare itself.
These guys are all dedicated to realistic reenactment. Everything is as close to identical types of weapons and uniforms actually used during the Civil War. They have really done their homework.
Well said.
I would love to get into this
I saw the one they had in 1998, and I don’t recall there being power lines where they did that one. But notice how for the re-enactors, there doesn’t seem to be any direction they can look where they’re not staring at spectators. Same thing happened in 1998. And of course there HAS to be an announcer droning on and on all through the event. I swear, there ought to be a law against that
IDK this looked kind-of fake
They should make these events private, the bleachers ruin everything
Looks like the Union side got very little casualties in this reenactment.
The surrender of Lee was not the death of the south, but the birth of the UNITED STATES.
we were at the BGA event the weekend before and what a great event.... and then we came to this one as well.................
So crazy
There's like 50 Clara Bartons going on here
