As an Arianator I love this reaction, this is def her best album yet, I'm actually surprised at how much you know abt Ari and the songs and I like how you listen through the song's lyrics and understand them (I would expect cause Taylor be good with them lyrics) most reactors don't do that, it's very refreshing to not explain every detail💀 I would like to say that The Boy Is Mine and True Story are based on untrue events so The Boy Is Mine is not abt Ethan, she confirmed it by saying in a new interview "This song isn't what you think it is" and Ig you already know abt the fantasize stuff I think the only songs that are abt Ethan are the Intro, Imperfect for You, and Ordinary Things, the rest r abt her divorce while also mentioning Ethan. Honestly, this whole album just hurts as a Positions fan and a fan in general who has been following her for a long time. Positions her sixth album is abt her relationship with Dalton before they divorced so knowing all those songs and how she felt back then and now is just crazy and sad honestly (still can't believe he cheated on her) the fact she was also so in love with him back then, it just hurts😭 idk if you have reacted or seen it but I think u should watch the MV for We Can't Be Friends, I think it elevates the song, this song has a lot of meanings as well, it's not just abt the media so I think it would be interesting if you would! I am also looking forward to Taylors' new album!! I wouldn't consider myself a Swiftie but I do like the songs that I have heard from her and I think ppl are overreacting, her songs are very beautiful and is a preferred listening choice in my opinion

i think her referring to her marriage as a situationship was def intentional, to me it felt like towards the end she was just caught in a relationship that she AND him weren't happy in anymore but didnt wanna break it off so it lost that "marriage" feeling and just ended off feeling like a situationship idk if that makes sense but that's kinda my interpretation

I feel my interpretation is that this is about her feeling trapped in her marriage with her own emotions and there not being enough effort by Dalton until it was too late, even her reference to therapy but saying he didn't try, only to add that she's not going to make the same mistake twice with "won't abandon me again for you and I". I feel the 'situationship' here is a double entendre, as it can be seen by listeners to either reflect the situation she was in (while also using catchy phrasing), or a straight-to-it reference to her leaving her marriage for the situationship she was in - all-in-all I am just nitpicking and loved your review! :)
