The ones traveling are generally going to have saved up enough money to go on a trip they’ve always wanted (bc it’s expensive as hell to travel from the NA continent) or come from a more affluent background. They’re on vacation and having a good. And then it also depends on what region their from, an NY USian has a different energy than an Cali USian. Generally the west vs East coast attitude is “nice but not kind” for the west and “kind but not nice” in the East. People on the east coast are in a hurry, people on the west coast take their time, though not quite as leisurely as the South The Midwest and South both are very polite and friendly but have passive aggressive cultures in different ways. The south is known for its hospitality, the north central Midwest states will pull over and save your life in a snowstorm and crack jokes during it, and never exchange names or contact with you.
